    Down to my last jar of July 2022 so popped out today to Sainsbury Hammersmith and found some above the top shelf that had never been put out on the shelves. Of course they went through the till at 28p. 11/2024 date on these.

    I used to use the big one in Chiswick and found they used to do that a lot. Always worth checking the top shelf.

    If you keep it UNOPENED in a moderately cool place (under 25C) and dark, (in a cupboard), it last for at least another three years - probably five!

    Surprised how expensive goose fat was this year, the bigger Tesco's jar was near £5...I think it ended up £2.50 with clubcard a few days before Christmas.
