    For some, it's all they can afford, something is better than nothing.

    On the other hand, no one is stopping those, who wish to purchase other items, from doing so 🙏 (edited)

    Completely agree. But if someone was to go and buy all these items and then MAKE the afternoon tea for their mother, that's a grand gesture and shows you appreciate your mother. It's not all about how much you spend and lots of children can't spend loads.
