I have this phone and the a52s 5g and personal prefer this one (don't really know why), my only problem with the s20 fe 5g is that since the most recent update the first time I plug my charger in it won't register so I have to remove then reinsert it and it will always work the second time. Not a big problem until you forget

Good phone, but three years of updates so Android 13 is the last major release it will receive.

true... they should support it with security updates for at least another year following that though.

The S20 FE 5G is the phone I'm currently rocking - its a really solid choice with no real bad points (other than the fact its getting on a bit, and it will probably not get another major android update beyond 13, which is currently available. Security updates should continue at least another year though.

Wireless charging is very handy. Screen is very nice, camera is decent. Getting it almost free on decent contract is a great deal (its only a few quid per month over the SIMO price of the contract - theres no exact same SIMO contract on three's website, but 25GBpm over 24m is £14pm - which is the closest - and this is £3pm more than that so if you see the phone component as being £3pm x24 you're getting it for only £72 spread over the 24 months - quite a steal!

S20 FE 5g is certainly the best shout here. I'd also keep an eye on A34 and A54. I believe both of them come with Buds you can keep or monetize on

Decent deal! Might have considered this had I not gone with another contract recently

Good deal for the phone if you are good with Three when you consider no upfront cost.

Just adding to my earlier comment :
On the other hand, some people say it is better to pay large upfront to lessen any annual price increase for the sim contract etc. I don't know if it is applicable here but at least you are spreading the cost out over a period.

I'm using this phone now, had it 12 months and I've gone from 8hrs screen time to 5hrs which is pretty poor for 12 months. Superfast charging 1-100% takes 69mins.

Other than that it's a superb phone, it has a SD slot and I find the low light camera to be superb! (edited)

Great phone. I've had mine for 2 years. It came with a 3-year warranty with John Lewis. So I guess I'll keep it for another year

Good phone but the rear camera isn't that great, especially in low light conditions.

Still a great phone but not for that price. It won't get A14.

I mean it's £549 Sim Free, so £408 with added data still feels like a bargain.
