People who actually don’t like buying refurb phones online, I’d say it’s much better than buying in store or brand new. You always get no-quibble returns and even if some so called ‘expert’ hasn’t tested it, you can take your sweet time and test it for a whole 10 days. Even brand new phones sometimes comes in with issues that are then fixed under warranty/or the phone replaced. Refurb phones comes in with decent savings and you can return it or get it fixed if there’s an issue. Either way, worth the savings! (edited)

voted hot still its nice to see giff gaff doing refurb phones but prices still imo need to be sharply down especially on their refurbs and other refurb deals from other companies.

You have new S23s with cash backs/trade backs around £499 yet an S22 refurb is £379, even more wacky is the S22+ for £369 being less and the plus newer model.

Google 7 refurb £419, brand new 7as which are similar imo and latest model for brand new £360 on ebay.

Its like Refurb deals is the new RRP launch price atm

I bought 3 refurbs from Giff Gaff and all 3 were store models completely locked in demo mode with no way to activate any security features or format them.

It’s great they’re doing them but it would be nice if they actually tested them for 1 minute instead of taking in stolen/bricked phones and selling them as “refurbished”

To be fair to them, all 3 were refunded, no questions asked. (edited)
