I don't really post deals but thought I would post this as I couldn't find it on here.

This is for the Samsung S23 Ultra, it's the cheapest total price I have found. Total cost of £985.76

The deal is online online, I went on store and they wanted £340 upfront instead of £290 online.

I did it in store as I wanted to make sure my trade in was accepted (galaxy S8 with cracked screen), it was only worth a fiver, but you get the £150 added to your trade in value. You can also trade in more than one phone if you want, although you only get the extra £150 once.

The guy in the store also said you can claim £200 cashback as well. I'm not too sure this will work though as it says it applies when you buy a phone. I've applied for it and anyway and will have to wait and see.

There is also a deal with unlimited data for an extra pound per month.

Edit:
Here's the trade in terms and conditions:

Tried all these piggy back networks and they are super slow.
My EE sim only is going up too £35 but I use it for home internet off my iPhone. Have 4 devices running off it . The speeds are silly 350MBPS down and 50 up .
I use silly amounts of GBs a month and never been throttled or limited in 2 years .
So even at £35 it’s well worth it to run my games and 4k content on the TV .

Where do you get that speed? Mine is very slow in Glasgow

    1K for a phone:)

    Is it, though?

Or is it £1k (Well, £985.76 minus maybe £65 cashback from TCB) for a phone AND some line rental for 2 years which includes unlimited calls, texts and loads of data?

I mean compare it to what BT charge for a landline - £26.35/month for just the line rental, that's no calls though but it's still £632.40 (Plus potentially an activation fee!) for the same 2 year period.

If you want some free calls, you're looking at 700 minutes/month for £34.35 which is £824.16 for the 2 years (Plus potentially an activation fee!). However a fairer comparison would be BT's unlimited calls plan which comes in at £44.35/month (Plus potentially an activation fee!) which is actually £1064.40 for 2 years, which is about £145 MORE than this deal - And I don't even think BT give you a phone! Oh, and you could get the £150 trade in bonus too to make it nearly £300 better than BT's equivalent.

Finally, good luck getting much internet on your BT handset, and you'll need an incredibly long extension cord to be able to use it in 99% of the UK.

If this was actually £1k for the phone, I'd say it's cold as ice. But given what you get and compared to other offers, it's not that bad at all.

    From the Cashback T&Cs page:
All applicable Promotion Products must be purchased SIM free from a Participating Retailer in order to qualify for a Reward in the Promotion. Purchases pursuant to a mobile network provider contract do not qualify.

So I don't think you can get the £200 cashback, unfortunately (edited)

Thats right bud i checked with a guy works in CPW. It has to be sim free he said.

Would this deal work with the £150 refund promotion through Samsung?

    samsungtradeinoffer.co.uk/promo/mpd

There's a mobile phones direct deal ive been spying which this applies too. (edited)
    pritchdingo's avatar
You switch to a cheap SIM only deal and take your number.

Then transfer the number to the new three deal.

It is possible Todo it over the phone, I've done it before after a bunch of nonsense. Threatened to leave and they magic found a solution

I got phone with buds (no calls/data) down to about £500 after cashback with trade in of my s21 fe. So close to pulling the trigger, wouldn't mind actually seeing the phone first, find the S21 fe a bit of a handfall, not sure I want an even bigger phone!
    dball294's avatar
*through employee portal with £200 off, additional £150 trade in, £200 cash back and free buds
  8. Covo20202's avatar
Thanks for posting, I've just taken this out:

    £290 down + £719.76 (£29.99 * 24) = £1,009.76
    Traded in iPhone 12 Pro Max for £285.00 + £150 promo = £435
    £1,009.76 - £435 = £574.76, pretty good for 2 years of unlimited data and a 1k+ RRP phone

Did you trade in online? How long did it take?

Why such a powerful device for browsing and social? I have a moto edge 20 lite that cost £150 and £16 unlimited data plan on smarty. That phone is more powerful than my capable laptop but will never be used as one by most. I don't get it
    kevinhoque's avatar
Some may want this phone for the raw power? Some may buy it for the screen and cameras? Or even the pen? Or for the complete package? Everyone has their own reasons?
  10. RomanTrabant's avatar
Please note the 256gb from them has only 8gb of ram. I went for 12gb as I'm lying to myself that I want to keep it for next 4 years.
  11. deleted2919055's avatar
Great price wish it was cheaper without the contract as I don't need one. Have an unlimited 24 months one with 14 months left
  12. adam.yacub's avatar
Heat! Unlimited data for an extra pound? Is that right? Why would you go for this then
  13. gryffindor1979's avatar
    Heat 🔥🔥 from me!

How do you do the trade in online?
    Big_Mal's avatar
    Author
You have to send the phone in for evaluation, that's why I did it in store.
  15. Lowneo's avatar
Even though it mentions the extra £150 when trading in, there doesn’t appear to be any mention of it when you actual trade in. I entered an iPhone 13 Mini and they quoted £265. Surely that doesn’t include the £150? If it’s actually £265+£150 I’d be happy with that, but it’s worrying that there’s no mention of it.

Yeah, I was a bit twitchy about doing it online, to be honest.

Take into account annual price increases..

    Still not a bad deal.
  17. nigelwill's avatar
So it's £200 cash back if you buy the phone SIM free. Or take a contract and get £150 on top of the trade in value of your old phone. Similar to the trade in deals Google were running a few months ago.

I would get £145 for my Pixel 6 Pro, plus the £150 off a 24 month contract.
  18. JRB's avatar
Ahh looked good until I saw the network.. Not making that mistake again.
  19. Willma's avatar
    Terrible deal, no free buds
    Flying_Orange's avatar
    And no £ 200 cashback?
  20. robert_adamson's avatar
If you have blue light or you have ever been in the forces you get 200 off these phones. At Samsung plus 150 trade for any smart phone and 200 cash back and the headphones thank it works out about 700 for phone and headphones then sell them so max 600 for the phone
    SuperSaiyanVader_'s avatar
yh but this comes with unlimited data, id value maybe £!5 a month so 15x24 so the phone comes out about 600 700 depending on the model
  21. SuperSaiyanVader_'s avatar
did anyone do the topcashback for £65? mine hasnt tracked at all been about 20 hours since i ordered, also any chance i can swap the trade in device and use another one and still get the offer or will i have to return and reorder

Thank you for posting, although I wish these types of deals had the service providers listed in the title. Usually these cheap deals are ID mobile, which for me is not worth having, but I still click on the link in the hope it might be useful carrier.

Can we claim £200 cashback if buying with samsung finance on 0%. Anyone know? I can't find anything in T&C that says we can't.
  25. REDBULL2K7's avatar
It doesn't add the extra £150 to the trade in price ? On checkout
  26. gunner786's avatar
How do they take upfront payment? They only mentioned 1p when doing credit check
