I got this air fryer as an additional one to my Ninja foodi and I’ve got to say I reach for the Scoville more than the ninja these days. It cooks things faster, is more portable and is easy to clean. It’s a great product for the money. (edited)

New to the world of air fryers. When doing things, like say crinkle cut chips, do you have to shake halfway through the cooking time. I ask because we currently use a deep fat fryer and half way shake to break them up from each other. Is it the same for air fryers?? Also how long does say 2 portions of said crinkle cut chips to cook to crispy. Tia

I don’t always shake through cooking but if you do the chips come out better. The cooking time depends on the chip type and quantity - I do 3 portions and it can take anywhere between 8-14mins.

I got this last time it was on offer. No regrets, heat up and cooks fast. Saves time and money with better results than my normal oven. in fact i have only used my old oven once to cook a pizza, Everything else in the airfryer. Also super easy to clean

Have had this for over 6 months and it's been great! I love the scoville stuff and all our pans and trays are scoville. Just like them, the air fryer drawer is non stick and the material heats up really well so makes the food cook great!

Does anyone know if there is a plastic taste after cooking?

    Only when cooking plastic.

Purchased yesterday and my goodness what a great air fryer. Cooked jacket potatoes in microwave for 6 mins for 2 spuds and then air fryer for 6 mins and came out super crispy. Topped with beans, bacon and cheese. Yum. Super quick easy light meal.

    Great air fryer.
I had a philips which was over £100 but this one is genuinely better.

So far so good with mine, I try to be gentle when inserting the basket.

I find thin fries cook in about 14-15 minutes so I use the preset for chips and flip half way and turn off early.

I also put in other things like breaded fish fillets with chips and then flip them too. Should get a rack really.

For the price is very good and you get a there year warranty.

This is a bargain for a compact air fryer. I have a ninja air fryer and it’s good. It was pricey. Wish I’d saw this before. Thanks for sharing. Going to purchase for my mum for Xmas cause she’s wanted one of these for ages. Thanks for sharing OP.

Another vote for this. Had it a few months and use it daily instead of my oven.

Got one a few months ago. Great bit of kit. Easy to clean and compact enough to take camping. It's been a game changer at home and in the tent.

Oh no have you checked stock online to see if any local stores have any? I ended up going into store and managed to grab last one on the shelf
