    Anybody who has these/this line of headphones: These vs the Sony XM series of headphones?

    Got the XM3s and really enjoy them (after a lil' bit of eq) and have always been curious about this line of headphones.

    Sony has good ANC but mediocre sound.
    M4 good sound but other issues, look my other comment.

    They sound very good but have a lot of issues.

    ANC is a meme in this headphones.

    They generate audible crackling noise when any signal is playing.

    Software is a mess.
    Sennheiser customer support doesn’t exist.

    Ive tried 3 or 4 other pairs.
    1 died after 3 months.

    That sounds pretty bad. I've had my momentum 3 from refurbished and still going strong after 1.5 years, will wait for the momentum 5 then which might be out 2024/2025

    These were £220 a few months ago, so this isn't the cheapest but I'd a decent chunk off.

    Wish they hadn't discontinued the Momentum 3, I love those headphones and mine started to fail right outside of the two year warantee period so wish I could replace them.

    Good deal! Although not the lowest price they've ever been; these were £218 back in June, but I wouldn't count on it happening again.
