A very good budget lens from what I have read (reviews), I have just bought one at this price. According to CamelCamelCamel this is the lowest it has ever been.

Think there are 14 left in stock, but says more on the way.

Shame we can't have Nikon glass at this price. Anyone who votes cold is simple.

Ohh Dont be upset, it is a good deal. Perhaps not many people looking for lens. I normally vote only hot, meaning if something does not seem to be a good buy just leave it... bit people are different. To me reviews and price history gives more than hukd.

Exactly this model of lens but Canon mount and Nikon mount could be bought from Currys PC World for roughly the same price!!!

Thoughts on using this on a Sony A7? Too much trouble, no auto focus etc?

Why buy A7 and then put some low end lens on it to ruin all the benefits? In general you may use this exact lens with cheap adapter, without autofocus and no aperture control, but to me it doesn't much sense. I'd rather use some obsolete prime lens, which would potentially cost cheaper, would be easier to use with manual settings, cover the 35mm sensor and would probably give you better image quality (if chosen wisely and good condition).

Agree with you whole heatedly stopped posting a while back because ,i just stick adding the link to the bottom if i find a better deal elsewhere , to some looks like the site has become a competition , making some the some missing out on good deals because of the random cold voters who will vote all new deals down regardless of how good it is

Just ordered one, I'm new to digital photography and a friend gave me a Canon EOS 350D. So now I have a 28-80mm, 18-55mm and this 75-300mm. I think all lenses are covered for now until I turn pro.... One day..

Brilliant offer thanks. Just wish I had the money for my hubby to get one. People vote cold if they are not interested if it's a great deal or not.

I bought this last year for my Nikon. It always impresses me with its quality and zoom capabilities. £99 from pc world

I already have one of these and it is a very good lens for a budget lens, I 'm not a professional photographer but all the photos I took using it where really good, I think I bought about a year ago for an extra £10, voted hot.

Good deal for a good budget lens.

I have had this lens on my canon for some time. Sigma is a well known company who make budget and higher end lenses etc. you get what you pay for but if you are an armature photographer who wants a zoom lens that isn't going to break the bank this is perfect. In fact I think you would have to be a pro to notice the subtle flaws compared with spending hundreds on a canon one.

It seems available for canon as well: amazon.co.uk/gp/…1_1?qid=1434234962&sr=8-1π=AC_SY200_QL40&keywords=Sigma+70-300mm+f4-5.6+Macro+DG+Lens+canon&dpPl=1&dpID=41FKvYd2n7L&ref=plSrch

I don't know much about this lens but it seems a good value for money. Voted hot.
