They LG just edges it in sports, slightly ahead in computer games, more significantly so in HDR Gaming and as a PC Monitor, though as I understand it if using it for office work, working with text, you're better to get a separate computer monitor that's tailored to/looks much better for that; that's come up in a lot of the reviews I've read.
Being rtings, the reviews for each are very long and quite technical but if you're looking for confidence in your purchase, well worth reading, though perhaps not if you're prone to bouts of buyer's remorse/high blood pressure, I'm sure most people would be happy with either and relieved to have finally found the TV for them but rtings summarise: -

The Android remote services app needs to be updated for it to work.
After spending a few hours trying multiple methods I found one that worked and it's quite easy.
Download a browser on the TV via the built in play store (I used puffin browser)
Do a search for "Android TV remote services" via the browser.
Click on the link that is from Google play store in search results.
It will ask whether to open in browser or play store.
Choose play store.
It will then update the system app and the TV will be seen on phone.
Google searches yield loads of old results from a year ago telling you to side load the app but it's not needed. (edited)
We're watching Die Hard 2 tonight on it
"You should of course consider spending a little more on a newer, 2022 TV. The Sony A80K and LG C2 are both better overall, particularly in terms of brightness and, in the case of the LG, even better specified for gaming. But there's no denying that the A80J is still an excellent TV that will reward buyers for years to come." I notice it has been cheaper on Amazon (on four occasions this month dipping to £813) but his appears to be the best price, now.
Can I get this online or do I need to go into store?
This or the LG 55CS ??? (edited)
£10 better off but Costco warranty is better.
I fancy this
I haven't seen it against the C2 but I've seen it against the S95b and the C1 (not gaming though) and preferred it.
I did wonder if it would trump the C2.

Would you need to show your membership details for the price beat to get honoured?
They can't check other stores with model number.
