All depends how far you are sitting and screen size.

Human eye is not that good to notice the difference between 1080 and 4K on a 40" screen once you are sitting more than 6ft away.

In fact a cheap 4K screen will probably look worse with 1080p content as the upscaling won't be great.

Unless you specifically need 4K, have the content and are sitting at the correct distance to notice, nothing wrong with 1080p.

Otherwise this is a poor deal as you can get a 4K TV cheaper anyway and Fire stick is probably limited to 1080 which is why they must have paired it up with this spec. (edited)

Looks like a 20 year old TV. Why would someone choose this over any other TV?

Judging by the 2nd picture the whole family can enjoy squinting at the glorious 1080p display

I actually find the Amazon TVs to be of average price what is unusual for Amazon. But there are various better options out there than all their range.
