Critics Consensus
There's fine spoofery and amusing characters in Spaceballs, though it's a far cry from Mel Brooks' peak era. Read critic reviews

Remember watching this on original cinema release - the opening scene was funny but was very underwhelmed by the rest of it

Mindless propaganda piece from some hippy left wing socialists and reports of an air shortage are an absolute fabrication. Bye bye.

Thanks. I’ll give it a miss & stick with The Last Jedi

I for one love this film, and with the way political correctness in cinema is going, I'd like to have it in physical format because I can see these films being completely impossible to find on streaming services in the future.

If you’re in a rush then the film is also available in Ludicrous Speed if you have access to iTunes Extras
