I am looking for a good quality one, can you recommend anything please?

Mira or Grohe are generally good quality.

Do not buy this cheap rubbish mine broke and starting leaking from base after 4 months, now have bought a Hansgrohe for £250, you definitely pay for what you get (edited)

I got this Aldi one. I’m not a plumber. I installed it myself. So far. So good. Think I paid £35. Does everything we need it to do. If it breaks I may go for a better branded one. However, currently I would certainly recommend this.

There’s already limescale on the picture

Good tap, mine lasted the 3 years then the chrome started flaking off leaving lots of very sharp bits.

The cost of their replacement will exceed the cost of the tap. Tools are generally good in Aldi, however personally I'd be cautious of the plumbing items.

Cheap enough to just replace entire Tap when it breaks though (edited)

If it’s inside warranty then I can’t imagine how they wouldn’t. It’s clearly not fit for purpose if it flakes at that point

I've had this just over a year and the chrome is flaking off

We bought the Matt stainless rather than the shiney chrome one.

It was easy to fit as our old tap was fitted with a large easy fit washer.

That was a b&q Cooke and Lewis tap and all the chrome was flaking off.

They are not the prettiest of things but are very handy.

Ours has held up well for the last 2-3 years with no flake as of yet

We have had this for years and it’s been excellent. No flaking! It’s the matt one. Easy to fit and I’m no plumber.

Great these. Have 2. 3 years later still 100%. Probably just cursed it 😄
