Likely very niche here, but it's such a big saving, I thought I'd get it out there anyway.
Fantastic saving if you're on the lookout for the SYN1 anyway, and you'll get the Friedman BE module with it too.

The preamp alone is around the £500-£530 mark.

Delivery is free

A Closer Look: Synergy Amps

SYN1
Unlock the full potential of your Synergy preamp modules with the convenient and powerful SYN-1 Single Module Tube Preamp. The SYN-1 is a roadworthy, professional housing that is compatible with any of Synergy’s interchangeable preamp modules. Want to change your sound? Simply slide in a different Synergy preamp module and you can access a whole new array of boutique amp tones.

The SYN-1 provides a powerful, flexible gateway to boutique tone in several different ways. Using the SYN-1 loaded with a Synergy module you can:

Go direct out (XLR or ¼”) into a recording console, concert venue mixer or powered monitorAdd two new “boutique” channels to your current amp via the series effects loopRun from the direct out of the Synergy into your current amp’s input if there is no effects loop (This method does NOT bypass your preamp, and only gives you the 2 channels of your Synergy module).

FRIEDMAN BE PRE-AMP
Dave Friedman is the man behind some of the most impressive tones in rock ‘n’ roll, and has been for over 25 years. Throughout that time, luminary players such as Jerry Cantrell and Steve Stevens have been relying on Friedman’s amplifier modifications, repairs, and builds to keep them sounding at the top of their game. With that expertise in tow, Friedman moved into crafting his own line of top-shelf electric guitar amplifiers, instruments, and effects, and in doing so has built one of the most enviable rosters of artists out there. Whether discussing the plexi-on-steroids tone of the BE-100, the pedal-platform versatility of the Buxom Beauty, or the fire-breathing Bill Kelliher signature Butterslax head, Friedman amps are undoubtedly taking over as the premier rock ‘n’ roll electric guitar amplifiers.

Few modern amplifiers carry the intrigue of Friedman’s flagship BE-100. Born from the expertise Friedman gained modding and maintaining some of the greatest British-style tube amps out there, the BE-100 combines the best elements of each with a healthy dose of Friedman’s own design ingenuity to create, what many players feel is, the quintessential plexi-style amplifier available today. The amp’s ability to dish out thick waves of overdriven power while simultaneously keeping the nuanced character of your individual style have made it the go-to amp for players and bands, such as Dave Weiner (Steve Vai) and the Foo Fighters. When players talk about Friedman amps, the BE-100 is always at the top of the list.

Very cool and a good deal. Randall did a series of swappable pre-amps years ago, not sure why it wasn't more successful. Tempted to grab one and run it into the effects loop of my Mesa Boogie.

I’m a Randall MTS junkie and have a Syn-1 as well. The Randall modules weren’t always as good as they should’ve been. The Egnater hardware and modules are generally great (and some modules are two-channel). But Synergy has taken it to the next level as far as collaborations with top amp makers. This is a great deal.
