I've got this tablet and it's fab, but don't watch anything really low res on it otherwise it just looks terrible. It's a pentile screen.

If you are wanting an Android Tablet, There's little not to like here, so Hot from me.

If you are more work focused though, look at the Lenovo Chromebook Duet 5, which is very similar, but runs Chrome OS, and also can run Android apps, (but not as well as a tablet.) The duet 5 will also get support untiil 2029, which this wont.

Representative told me this cannot be upgraded beyond Android 10. Do you personally believe that this tablet is furureproof?

sorry to fire so many questions P11 plus will there be much difference for the 30-40 pounds of 4gb to 6gb playing roblox and youtube etc....
    emanas's avatar
This one is Oled screen and P11 plus is IPS, Oled are good for media consumption i.e Netflix etc

Any1 recommended something for 7 year old. Child... Upgrade from amazon fire... Thanx... About £200 thanx... As it will get misused... So need to be good quality

I'd stick with the kid's edition of the Fires then - the 10in one isn't too bad spec wise, though the smaller ones are lower (latest version improve on older versions a little too). Then you have the breakage cover and a rubberised case. Can't use Family Link is the only downside really. A 7 year old isn't really going to notice the difference between this and that.

Though good at hardware, Lenovo will give worst level of software update on these

Just phoned a Lenovo representative, regarding the OS, Android 10, and can it be upgraded to Android 12 and it cannot. So probably not worth the risk.

Fantastic price, I'd be all over this like a pigeon on chips, if I didn't already have an S8 Ultra. The next best price is 599! Great deal, OP

I went for this P11 Plus bundle last night I'm now wondering if spending an extra £50 for this Pro deal is worth it?

Similar to another poster, I want a tablet for my 8yo daughter to play Roblox/Minecraft, watch Disney/Netflix but also potentially use for her art (just leisure, nothing serious).

My initial thoughts are that the Pro is a bargain as it's so cheap compared to normal price but I gather the Plus is more likely have the more recent Android updates? I'm confused.. can any of you kind in-the-knows please summarise the pros and cons so I can either change my order or move on

i think im going to stick with the plus, 50 quid is 50 quid my 6yr old wont notice the difference and has a more recent version of android i think. The pro is a great deal though

I think this is the 2021 as it has got a 730G, still a good price! flame on!

It says keyboard non back-lit!... this was nearly perfect!.

Nice device, but not very future proofed in terms of software updates: support.lenovo.com/gb/…rix

    If only this was a gen2 :-(

Looking for a tablet for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas, upgrade from the Amazon fire HD tablets she has had previously. Didn't want to spend more than £250, are there any decent tablets in the £250 bracket or should just snap this up for £300?

I don't we will see a decent deal with pen and keyboard around this price.

looks good, wonder if cheaper on student portal?

    £298.99 on student portal

I went for the lenovo ideapad duet 3 snapdragon at £249, should i cancel and go for this, sounds similar snapdragon, detachabke keyboard and pen, but 6gb ram. Main use will be 9year old daughter playing roblox, netflix, homework, etc (edited)
    Mr_Chondo's avatar
I personally would, for the £50 price difference. The screen upgrade alone is worth the extra cost.

Could this handle lightroom and photoshop?
    halliwells99's avatar
It’s android - so won’t run desktop versions of Adobe apps
  18. Kate_C_91's avatar
Is this much better than the P11 plus on Amazon for £250 with keyboard and pen?
    bodolf's avatar
    I was wondering as well
  19. AlienAl2's avatar
is this worth the extra cash over the P11 PLUS for a 6 year old?
    Malabus's avatar
No...Amazon deal probably better, and advertised as Android 11.
