When you see these prices, for what is an excellent telly, you realise just how inexpensive it is to assemble a television and just how much certain brands rip you off...

TCL manufacture panels for Samsung (including their high end 8K TV's).
I wouldn't be surprised if the same spec Samsung TV for far more money had the same TCL panel as this!

Here's basically the same TV for the same money from Amazon -

Amazon have their own TCL's with exclusive model numbers but there's always another TCL TV with identical specs (like the P639/Amazon and P638/non-Amazon, same TV). (edited)

Awe man I just bought the TCL 50RC630K Roku TV 50" for £299.
Is this worth the extra 80 quid?

    Yes.

This is a 60hz model too though.

Just had to look into it myself as I just went by the advertising.
Not sure if it works the same was as frame gen on graphics cards but the tech used gives you an effective 120Hz (though at 1440p).
Seems to be very effective thoug according this this video (at 8:27) -

it is not 120hz, is 60hz. but what I understand is there is a virtual 120hz accelerator. (edited)

    Price droop on this one

You knew it was already posted, but instead letting the OP (me) know about the price drop, which is what most people here do, you just ignore the message that popped up and posted it anyway.

Then you spam my other deal with your post?
