Bought the 65" version 3-4 months ago as i was after a second tv for the kids. I was that impressed with it i decided to put it in the living room and retired the 4 year old Sony 50" to the spare room. I dont know much about tv's but i cannot fault it. Picture quality is spot on, contrast, colours, etc are better than the Sony. Plus its Android so you can throw any app on it. Other than the slightly cheap looking/feeling remote, i'd say its better than the Sony, which was more than twice the price. Hopefully it lasts as long as the Sony but time will tell. (edited)

Is this a good gaming tv?

Seem they want to grab the discount for themselves. Had the c845 in my basket and it's gone up £50 this morning

TCL appear to be knocking out some cheap TVs with good specs for the price. This and the two models above the 745k and 845k are on my radar.

One thing to note is that most TCL retailers do not offer a decent warranty with the TV. They apparently do seem to have numerous glitches with the software and I have heard of some hardware issues. TCL themselves do not appear to be much help. I personally want the 845k in 65inches but am waiting on a price drop.

2 years for this deal and imho if the tv doesn't go wrong within this timeframe it isn't going to. But I am concerned about the brand as you mention.

Cheapest I've seen available right now. Can be had for £399 at a Amazon.

Not sure I'll take a gamble for just 2 years warranty.

Just bought the 43" version of this for the Xbox. £299 Peter Tyson. 2 Year warranty.

It's so hard nowadays to pick a TV and or a mobile phone. Somebody says it's great, someone else says it's no good. I just don't know what to do. Years ago a TV was a TV

Still kinda like the old days, you could buy an ALBA from Argos bit cheap and tacky or a Sony which would look a bit more premium and last an age.

This tlc is a really decently little TV, good picture, good features, good value for money but ultimately it won't have a few high end features like the £1000+ Sony oled models.

Always worth a wonder around currys and differences are easy to see

Any views on what this would be like as a computer monitor for office tasks rather than gaming - after more screen acerage

I have a 32 inch as a PC monitor and the size took some getting used to but when you use splitscreen working in multiple programs becomes pretty slick.

Amazon just announced another prime day, I'm sure last year they had a few tlc models at very good prices, maybe it was black friday
