Is it just me or is tescos website absolutely horrendous to use

They obviously like to make the online shopping experience as close as they can to the instore shopping experience.

So is this just using the home delivery stuff? i.e. the usual nonsense over getting a "slot", and no idea if what you want is in stock until a picker wanders the store?

Clicked on some lego. Went to buy and the page disappeared

When they got rid of Direct, it all went south. I find it easier to look for toys or clothes with them by typing it into Google search. Its so much less painful than looking through their own website at this point.

And that's annoying. Bearly any C&C or delivery slots available in my town, and they costs that fiver anyway. Rather pop in and pick what I want, not being bothered to spend £40+.

Anyway, great finding OP, heat added

Home delivery is basically useless, if you want anything only real option is to go in-store or wait for a Amazon price match.

Watch out when buying non-grocery stuff from Tesco Groceries. Nothing is reserved when you buy it. I got 2 of the half price Lego sets in the BF deals, ordered, selected a collection slot a couple of days later, got an order number the lot. Went to collect it and they said there were none left! Who’s got my order then! Absolutely bizarre system. Best I got from customer services was a small voucher off my next order and that this is “just how the system works - it doesn’t reserve items”.

    Wait for Amazon

Odd, they show up as in stock when not logged in but as soon as I sign in the items display as out of stock

I ordered toys online and they subbed all of them for something else. Driver returned them all and took a few days gor a refund. Just because you ordered doesn't mean it is in stock and will be delivered.
