Horror-meister John Carpenter (Halloween, Escape from New York) teams Kurt Russell’s outstanding performance with incredible visuals to build this chilling version of the classic The Thing. In the winter of 1982, a twelve-man research team at a remote Antarctic research station discovers an alien buried in the snow for over 100,000 years. Once unfrozen, the form-changing alien wreaks havoc, creates terror and becomes one of them

Dodgy VHS, actual VHS, R1 DVD, R" DVD, Bluray, then the better Blu on Arrow. It is a great film to be fair..(thank God i didnt have a laser disc player).

Because it's sold out everywhere and selling on ebay at Inflated prices and now sold out on amazon too. You could immediately flip this for profit on ebay.

I really dont get the tin box thing, with the extra expense. Its going in a cupboard once watched. Just me.

Oh I love steelbooks. But these Titans of Cult releases are usually a miss for me anyway due to the shoddy plastic case and usually pointless pin/badge.
