The price after cashback is actually really good but three network is not really great. I have been with three over 10 years and even now you get network dead spots in many areas of London. I pay 12£ unlimited and I only stay because of the cheap price

Very much the same experience. Was a customer of theirs for almost 10 years on the unlimited data monthly rolling sim. Paying about £16p/m. I'm not a heavy user as I use wifi at home and at work but when I was out and about and wanted to catch upon some YouTube. The speeds were Very very bad and very inconsistent which lead to a lot of start and stop buffering even for 720p and that was in areas with full signal.

By the time I switched, network performance had improved and was more consistent with less throttling. Although dead spots still existed.

Switched to Lebara who are piggybacking Vodafone. People used to clown on Vodafone for having terrible coverage but I still get full bars in places where three would have been down to one or two bars and I haven't experienced any deadspots. Network performance on Lebara is very good

Anyone have experience claiming the cashback? Any issues?

I went for this deal about three months ago but opted for the automatic £65 CB. Paid after around 100 days into my bank

Great deal for the price but from my experience, three is horrifically bad at customer service and extremely good at charging extra. I personally couldn't recommend three, my parents and my partner have all moved away from them and are much happier about their mobile connection (and price), although it took a lot of fighting to get out of their three contract.

Signal in London is also not as great as other providers such as O2 and vodafone in case this is important to you.

100% agree. Awful Indian scamming customer non service

Personally, for me as someone who travels a lot abroad, Three is one of the worst options out there. For years, they had "feel like at home" perk on all unlimited plans, this let's you use your UK allowance in tens of countries. Now, they have the second most expensive roaming fees on the market. I agree, it’s a shame they dumped like Home. It was their USP.

As a frequent EU traveller I moved to Smarty. I’d have this deal in a flash if they included roaming.

When abroad in EU they charged me 2 quid a day for service avability, 2 weeks they asked 28 quid for nothing. I switched sim off after 1 day. Of course broadband usage is extra. (edited)

Just in Europe right now and get charged the 2£ per day . I do miss their feel at home

Can the moderators, actually merge all posts in both threads instead of simply just deleting the newer one. It's so frustrating when threads are supposedly merged and useful questions, answers and points are left out. Surely forums like these have been going for years now and the technology is there to do so.

Actually a very good point. My carefully crafted comment from now merged thread has disappeared in bowels of HUKD. (edited)

Good if you can get coverage. You probably won't get good coverage. My current plan is 100GB / unlimited voice and texts for £14 per month. I am connected to 5G in my area but, sitting by a window, I get about 4 Mbps and lots of jitter where it stops / resets. I even get connection issues on calls.

People need to understand that, your bad experience with a network due to signal quality.. Will not be the same experience for the next person.

Its literally based on where you live and where you travel to regularly. For me, three is absolutely brilliant.

Fantastic deal, but from my experience I prefer Vodafone or EE, but that’s only because the signal is superior in my areas and from my findings.

Due to the high speeds and spectrum three has this has received a vote up from myself as if you do have a decent signal in your area I can’t see an issue here realistically.

Showing as £65 cashback not £96. Am I doing something wrong
    DaveLakin's avatar
you need to select the cashback you apply for as well. Its excluded by default as it's a pain to claim for
