I bought on of these last time was on here to link my ThinkPad P52 to my Samsung M7 monitor/TV.
The monitor doesn't think anything is attached though, usb mouse works so seems like other ports are working.
Anybody more technologically knowledgeable than me venture a reason as I think looking at P52 specs it should work? P52 is a refurb from Itzoo so thunderbolt port may not be working (tried both ports).

When that happened to me with a different but similar dock it was about power, have you tried connecting your laptop's charger if it's USB-C or any powerful USB-C charger to this dock?

On the other hand, why won't you connect your ThinkPad directly to the M7 monitor with a USB-C cable? It's rated to 65w and that's how I use it with my work's Dell Latitude

Doesn't look like the PD port does data? Nearly perfect. Wish it had an additional USB C data port.

My needs are dual monitor, RJ45 Network and a few USBs. Power delivery would also be ideal. Any recommendations?

I got a couple of those, after a lot of trial and error. These are by far the best, and they work perfectly with all ports connected.

The Gigabit ethernet is an AX chip, perfectly supported in linux since kernel 6.1.x

The main issue with other docks is the stutter of the USB mice/keyboards, or the dropping of data on USB mass storage devices, or dropping the network connection (or missing packets), especially when all are connected.
This one works perfectly (Windows and Linux). Tested with a number of laptops.

Do you know if this would allow "Ethernet tethering" direct from a phone running Android 12 to a windows 10 laptop ?

I got one of these not so long back for my new HP laptop. One downside I've found is if you connect a 45w charger to the USB-C port the laptop says its not enough to charge the laptop. I tried with a 65w and was fine but did complain it wasnt official HP.

So that isn’t a problem with the adapter then

I use this to connect my steam deck to the tv and hard wire to my router to play cod. Can also connect mouse, keyboard and memory sticks. Works flawlessly. Highly recommend.
