I have a similar design tap that I bought about 6 years ago. Seemed really good up until now when it started to leak.

The weird part of was leaking where the arm rotates around the tap.

I thought it was a washer or cartridge, but no it's actually this groove on the tap which the arm sits on, it's a week point and has just weakened over the years of gentle use thus causing a very fine crack in the tap, and leaks water everywhere

Is there a button to select between the spray mode and the normal tap mode?

I'm just looking at this tap myself. Some of questions:

Can this be used a usual tap or just a spray option
This item only has spray options. Default is with the jet spray. If you change to the shower spray, then turn the tap off, when you turn it back on it will revert to the jet spray.

Would anyone be able to explain how the two buttons work? I haven't fitted the tap as yet, but I am curious to know why one button simply 'clicks' when pressed, and the other doesn't seem to 'lock' when pressed,
One button controls the spray and the other will lock it on when the spray is in use.
One button causes the tap to go into "Spray" mode, the other button when pressed stops the water flow and then when released reverts it back to the normal flow.

I havent got this but I have got a similar one.

Mines got two buttons- one is a flick switch between spray and stream. The other button stops the flow as long as you hold it. It releases when release it.

I suspect this one's the same

Are you talking about the actual tap head?

Tempted. Anyone know the T&C's for the 10 year warranty? I bet it is fairly limited.
