  • SAME BATTERY, EXPANDABLE POWER: Worx Power Share is compatible with all Worx 20v and 40V tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products. WG779E.1 Powered by 2pc 20V Powershare batteries, up to 460 m2 on a charge.
  • TORQUE ON DEMAND: Patented Intellicut technology adds power when the grass gets thicker, then allows you to dial it back down to conserve battery.
  • CUT TO EDGE: The cut-to-edge design gets closer than other mowers to fences and features on your lawn, for less trimming later.
  • COLLASPSIBLE HANDLE: For easy storage in the garage during the off-season.
  • SINGLE-LEVER/6 CUTTING HEIGHTS: The single-lever adjustment lets you pick the right height to accommodate different seasons and different preferences.

  • DUAL-PORT CHARGER: Charge both batteries at once in 2 hours, or just charge 1 in an hour. And you can use it to charge the 20V batteries of all your Worx PowerShare tools.

The new automatic Intellicut Technology lets you add the power when you get into thicker grass and then dial it back down to conserve battery when the grass gets easier to manage automatically.

Iv tried 2 of their lawnmowers, I bought one from Homebase when they were shutting down and it felt like one of those little fans a child uses in summer, got rid of it on eBay and amazingly made £20.

my friends mother bought one of these last year and it was awful, I went over and did lawn for her using it as she’s old, took ages and didn’t like long grass luckily she has small lawn so it’ll be just about ok as long as done weekly

the strimmer is ok in small garden
Battery Hammer drill is surprisingly good
battery jaw-saw ok for light use not for cutting firewood
electric jawsaw decent but cable is a pain
    Battery Leaf blower decent

impact driver awful the hammer drill does better job 😩
battery hedge cutter mediocre. Ok for light use but useless if you have a thick hedge
Battery angle grinder bit of a joke felt about same power As a Dremel with those little skinny cutting discs that may scratch a thin bit of metal, but never going to do real work

for light use some of their kit is ok, but wish I’d never bought 2 of the drills and 2 jawsaws as it convinced me to try the other stuff

wish id gone with dewalt early doors or just gone with Titan who are cheap but way better

corded chop saw outstanding for £50
    corded chainsaw excellent for £40
petrol chainsaw good for £100 but possibly wish I’d paid the extra for a stihl
petrol strimmer brushcutter good for £100
corded hedge cutter outstanding for £25-30

i have a 54 v flexvolt dewalt strimmer which is outstanding, battery has died but could relatively feel the quality in it, it’s a shame that range is so expensive, wouldn’t have minded the chainsaw, but at 300-400 per tool I just can’t justify it for my own home use

i use a Honda engine mountfield petrol lawnmower which is pretty good cost about £350, will be a long time before I’d suggest anyone with sizeable lawn switched to a battery mower of any type

and even on small lawns I’d suggest not getting the work unless it’s at a bargain basement price about half this

I got one of these when you could get them for £100 at the back end of last year. I do like the convenience of not having the cord, but it's not as good at cutting as a petrol or even an electric mower. It is ok if you are cutting a little bit off the top regularly. However, if you try to go deep it will just stop and the battery will go flat very quickly.

Personally I think if you don't have a very large lawn then battery mower is very convenient.

I own a WORX lawnmower, trimmer, leaf blower and hydro shot.

I wish I HAD NEVER invested in this low quality brand. They get you with the cheap price but in the end, you realize its just 3D printed plastic junk with an unreliable battery. I've replaced all 4 products under warranty and the hassle isn't worth the savings. Just get a Bosch/ Makita or some other well known brand and skip this tat! (edited)

This is what I have now but not a fan of it. Lacks cutting power and struggles with taller grass.
What’s the difference with this at double price hotukdeals.com/dea…986 (edited)

bigger batteries, large cutting width, brand name

I bought this when it was on eBay at around £100. General point is I wouldn't rebuy, the batteries have a short life and it blocks with even moderately long grass.

This was something I was fearful of for a battery mower. Ended up opting for a petrol hyundai hym430sp when it was on offer for £240. I do have other worx tools (strimmer/edger, sander, jigsaw/recip) and they are all brilliant for their purpose though 👌

I have this and for what I paid I’m very happy with it, but I do have the version with 2x 4ah batteries. If I had the 2x 2ah batteries I’d have to recharge after every mow (which isn’t an issue to be fair), but I can get 2 mows with the bigger batteries.

Better off waiting for the bigger machine to come back on offer

I’ve heard the trick with these is to sell the batteries it comes with as standard on eBay and then buy better and compatible aftermarket batteries so you get a longer run time. Haven’t done it myself as I’m yet to decide which cordless mower to purchase but for anyone like me considering one this is the advice I’ve been given by a gardener tradesman (edited)

Love mine it was £95 at eBay last November ,stoped working in April, sent it back and was told to keep any attachment batteries and charger few days later a brand new one !
    Great costumer support!!

Perfect for a small lawn. If you let the grass go long you need to cut on highest settings first then do again. Will be going back to petrol when we get a bigger garden

I have two worx lawnmowers the WG779E.2 and WG773E. One for home and one for allotment. Its true they struggle on long grass but you can raise the height and do two sweeps if grass is long. I tfind first cut of year is worst but after that I dont let it grow too long. I now buy Tenhutt compatible batteries for worx tools but dont use them for lawnmower yet

Not sure if the site is legit... Googling it, seems like it potentially is! £130 with batteries & strimmer. Looking at reviews of the lawn mower, they were approx £100 a few months back on ebay so not sure this is a great deal!

Wow shows the eBay £100 deal was a great deal as it came with 4.0ah batteries, just started using it and loving it as same charge can do my garden twice over on turbo mode, I did have to do twice as well as I had to raise height to maximum for first cut, Also learnt to let it spin up for a few seconds before I start moving it. Only issue I have found so far is the cuttings not filling up the bag at the back I'm hoping this was just because the grass was a bit damp.

Exactly my experience, word for word!

Picked one of these up for the 100 quid mark last year.
It's perfect for our small lawn and we get 3 or 4 cuts from a full charge, however, I'd have stuck with petrol if we had a larger area to cut. (edited)

I've got this and I like it BUT as others have said the small batteries don't last long,if your trying to cut long grass strim first and it probably will also struggle tbh I got it for the convenience of no cable

I've the larger version of this with the bigger batteries and it's excellent, the smaller batteries will work fine on small lawns (i've both) i liked it so much i bought it for my son who's only got two small lawns, I'd 100% recommend Worx tools and garden tools - I've about 8 different pieces altogether and they never fail me

I have the presure washer, batteries tend to last approx 20mins, (give or take). Since i have only a small car one battery is sufficient. But the for me i find the presure washer is great, perhaps not as powerful as mains operated, but enough for me.
    Rhys_Turner's avatar
I never understood the cordless pressure washer. Don't you still have to be hooked in to a hose pipe? Which kind of defeats the point of the battery...

Amazing reviews, petrol is under rated from experience, can't believe the weight is so low! but i don't own this:

I’m not sure if this is the exact same lawnmower but for £10 more you can get a grass trimmer as well.

I used this for a year with 2ah batteries, really frustrating to use, quickly die and struggle when the grass is more than 2 weeks grown.

I've just upgraded to 5ah batteries that i bought from Amazon and it has improved so much, glides through the grass and last so much longer. Paid £65 for them.
    fishmaster's avatar
Yes upgrading the capacity helps this should be running 40V with two batteries installed. It's not amazing power but it will do the job.

If you want beast mode mower and have a large lawn you'll want this at vastly more cost. It has 2 x 120V Samsung L-ion batteries. The batteries are only 2.5Ah though, presumably they could be upgraded >

That is probably overkill mower but there you go

I’ve got it and it’s terrible. Save your money
  22. Nizza3474's avatar
Loads of reviews on Argos saying the battery life is poor and that you need to buy extra batteries, but need to buy 2 so then it's not cheap. I've just brought the titan cordless trimmer from Screwfix and it's great so going to get their cordless lawnmower - sounds like you get 35 minutes run time and a spare 5a battery is £30
