I know not everyone will see the appeal of one of these but if you have a medium to large garden or are fed up of mowing your lawn, this could be a good place to start.

Experience the convenience of a fully autonomous robot lawn mower. Designed to cut lawns up to 400m2 at a height of 20mm to 60mm, this compact mower drops its clippings back onto the surface of the grass for a naturally fertilised, healthier lawn. Includes charging station, 10m power cable supply, 150m boundary wire and 250 pegs

Robot lawn mower with pretty decent reviews on amazon at a very reasonable price. Seems to be a good robot lawnmower (from what I've read). If you're after a mower that you can just set up and leave it to do it's thing i.e no apps etc then this could be the one for you.

Currently reduced at Cleva from £449.99 to £399.99 but with discount code EASY10 you can get it for £360 with free shipping.

Possible 5.25% Topcashback. Mine is pending at £18.90 but not sure if it will track. If it does that brings it down to £341.10.

The clippings are so small as it cuts the lawn every day, you won’t even notice them

I’m sure this is great but I highly recommend the VBRM16. It doesn’t need any wires or markers. It’s so handy having a lawnmower you just drop and go with. Nice post OP!

    Only 100m2

I assume robomowers aren't great if you have young children with the clippings always on their shoes from playing on the grass?

I do not think that is a problem - fitted a einhell one last year(for my mum), the cuttings are like dust and you can not see them at all , best purchase so far - perfect cut lawn all the time.
anyway I certainly have not seen clippings - although mums address is a dry area?

How does this cope with obstructions? E.g. swings, trampoline, climbing frames (edited)

    Taken from the website.....

Wheel sensors allow the mower to bump into and back away from fixed objects in the lawn such as furniture. Lift sensors stop the blades if the mower is lifted.

Do you need to lay a perimeter wire where there's a boundary? e.g fencing? The wire is only 150m long but our lawn is 250m squared

You do need to lay a perimeter wire, yes. The 150m wire allows coverage of 400sqm. Hope that helps. The next model up (L12) comes with 180m of cable and that allows for 800sqm so 150m should be ample. Just measure the outside of your garden and any areas you need to zone off. I thought it was going to be tight on mine but there's loads left. (edited)

So the charging station.. must be waterproof I guess? Blades must be self cleaning and mower only goes a mowing on dry days? Does seem like something that could easily be stolen

Interested but hmff... besides a big back lawn, have a front that is divided into zones/patches with a driveway and a car sat on it aswell as some 'rough' areas with tree roots coming up etc.. (edited)

Can someone recommend a model for a small garden? Around 5x6 meters square?
