Just a note, these cook your ears but otherwise they're comfy and have pretty decent controls once your used to them

Best gaming headset I’ve ever owned, probably unbeatable if your budget is under £150, plenty of settings to choose from and can be used for more than just gaming, had since release and if they broke I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again! (edited)

Highly recommended swapping out the earpads for the Arctis 7 ones, they fit perfectly. My ears don't cook now. Great headset overall.

Great tip thanks. Great headphones but sweaty ears is the only problem

Been cheaper at 69.99 but absolutely still worth it at this price. Straight forward out of the box connecting it up to the xbox. The chat/game mixer is easy enough. My only gripe with the mixer, it's easy to catch and rotate them when adjusting your headset.

If you're playing the likes of call of duty, then this is worth checking out for mixer settings.

I have also heard that these break easily, not the case for me as of yet. Thats with rough handling but not to the point im launching them at the wall. Had for 3 months so far, so plenty of time to potentially fail on me in the first year.

No they break even with delicate handling . In fact my 2 broke without me touching the mic housing

Has this been cheaper in the past on here?

I've seen them around £69.99 on here before

These or razer kaira pro for £5 less?
    royals's avatar
Razer pro are far better, had both. Microsoft ones sound ok but the razer ones sound far better, more comfortable and are a massive leap in build quality.

I would not get the Microsoft ones as the build quality is dreadful , had 2 in 6 months. First lasted 3 weeks and second paste 5 months. Same issue as the cheap nasty plastic housing that holds the microphone to the headset just breaks. And that’s with me treating them like fragile glass. Common issue it seems.

If the razer ones were double the priceif the Microsoft ones I’d still recommend them over the Microsoft ones (edited)

One of the cups fell off on mine after a year and a half, and they're a pain to put back on. I can still use it though as the mixer between game/audio chat is a little toggle.

Had these for 2yrs+ and are a great headset

Hate these wish I never got em.

Creates a lot of pressure in my ears, don't get the same horrible uncomfortable pressure-ry feeling from my XM5 but these uggh!

Very comfy over short bursts and spells but horrible over longer periods of use.
