My first set of 30 years ago got me on the path to becoming a fitness instructor...lol..

Ok for a beginner for a few months and never rust..lol.. easy to clean, though a little cumbersome, which adds to balance as you get better, also come in handy to weigh down the gazebo in windy weather too...lol

    Thanks, I've ordered.

Sign up to their newsletter for 10% off - made it £19.80

I had a quick look on eBay, nothing near this price. Same set there was £29

Good price. Had the exact same set back in the 90's as a teenager

Same here! Proper blast from the past those colours. Always coming loose aswell (might have just been my weedy arms unable to put them on tight enough...).

Didn't realise they still made these - concrete inside I think

Yes, I had the same set many years ago as others mentioned.
I think they gave the concrete filler some fancy name like "discotron".
Perfectly adequate to get started though metal discs are less bulky for the same weight
so worth the extra cost if you can afford.

Good weights these. I’ve had mine for about 20 years. Recently replaced them with iron ones for lifting  but still use this one for goblet squats. (edited)

Heat for still selling them even though I used this exact pair in the 90s!!

I curl these whilst listening to Kajagoogoo

Thanks OP. The plastic coating eventually becomes brittle, especially if left in sun light. Buy metal, they last a life time.

Would have been a top deal if they completed the look with a free tank top

Mine are just starting to crack and fall apart after 30 years of light use!

Had one split at the mould line on me; a real mess, was kinda surprised to find out how thin the plastic is on these, been using steel ones ever since. (edited)
