I had pre-ordered this from Amazon earlier in the week, but then after reading reviews, I cancelled the order. There's nothing particularly wrong with the watch, but it seems to be just a (much more premium) repackaging of cheaper smart watch/fitness trackers, and shares much of their limitations such as no NFC, no real app store to speak of, and somewhat incomplete syncing of things like contacts. All being said, it doesn't really do that much more than a smart watch half it's price from China, though the premium casing and large screen size were tempting.
But there's another problem: there have been several full-featured WearOS watches on sale for around £100 in the past year (e.g. Fossil Gen6 for around £90 nine months ago), and those have NFC, wifi, Google's Play store, etc. Of course, their batteries only last a day, but that's the only compromise you'll make. This is too bare-bones for those who want a full smart watch, yet too expensive for the features it does have. £20 less and it'd be worth a punt. (edited)
