Is there an Xmas sale for PS Plus Subscriptions?

My account has expired and I couldn't take advantage of the Black Friday offer. I've seen an old post about there being an Xmas sale on PS Plus subscriptions but can't verify it. Did anyone previously buy a sub on offer around this time last year?

    There is currently an offer on selected accounts, not sure if this is the main Christmas offer though.
