Xbox Series X monitor £150 ish?

My Grandson wants a 24" monitor for his Xbox Series X but we are unsure as to what he needs regarding the HDMI port? Does it have to be HDMI 2.1?

Any deals that come close to his £150 budget would be great?

There's a brilliant table on there albeit more 27" based. If it were my money, I'd want something that supports HDMI 2.1 for full compatibility. But budget isn't probably going to work here. But that page is a good education.

No. HDMI is fully forwards and backwards compatible so a screen with any version of HDMI will work with the Xbox.
