So many bad reviews from this company. It is weird what companies hotdeals allow & don't.

I wouldn't purchase from them. I'd rather a UK seller on the Switch and not a gamble of an over seas order.

Price is nowhere near worth the hassle. It has been about same price point for standalone (I think 259.99) or cheaper with bundles (if you factor costs of games). These could be purchased via amazon, tesco, or other retailers giving a uk market product and full warranty.
These deals come and go but if you are interested in a switch, you probably also were a month ago and you probably also will be in a month. Especially that it will probably take a month for this to arrive.
    Voted cold. (edited)

Yep I’ve had deals from uk websites removed in the past for ‘issues with the company and customers service’. I relied to the admin are you sure it’s not because they won’t pay you commission. I didn’t get a reply to that.

Would be interested but the games and accessories are so over priced. Will probably jump onto this when it's in it's final years

I think the error many people make is assuming that HUKD has a duty of care to their users. Wrong. The prime objective of HUKD is to make money for the owners and other stakeholders. As long as chinese retailers, who provide truly appalling after sales service, will continue to pay kickbacks, then nothing will change. Money talks. (edited)

With the reviews as they are on that website above and many others should Toby Deals really be allowed to be posted on here?

Are you seriously telling me people would make purchases from an outfit called Toby Deals?

I've bought a Phone from Toby's deals from a post on here, phone took 4 days to come from HK. If you look at the deals from them on here, you'll notice the exact same comments, but you'll also notice that those that actually order from them get their goods in a few days.

The only issue is of course the warranty, but I have home insurance to cover that anyway.

Ill have no problems ordering from them again.

You'd claim up on your home contents and swallow the jacking up of your premium the following year rather than holding the retailer to account that's true Toby logic

Yup that's the main thing that's holding me back too. I'm not willing to pay more just because it's Nintendo.

tbh i would rather get it from JL or nintendo and have 2 year guarantee, the battery us probably going to suffer before 2 years so will get it covered. 279 is too expensive a toy to have it die after a year

So... I don't get all you haters out there. Don't you understand that these things are made that side of the world anyway? Nintendo being a Japanese company and all that?

Communication was good from this retailer despite the obvious time zone difference and people on here saying otherwise. My mail was answered within 24 hours, delivery was within a week from Hong Kong to London UK. They dispatched it same day as I ordered and kept me updated every step of the way. A side note, I only used the free standard international shipping option, I assume it's even faster if you pay the extra.

So, upon receiving the box I thought "Oh crap... it's all written in Mandarin.. and I don't know how to read that! Eeeep!"
I've just this moment tested everything and it all works and connects together fine, all components are present and correct. Even came with the UK power adapter. Brand new condition, easy to set up in English as the language selection screen is the first thing you see when you turn it on. Games bought in the UK load fine, no region issues to speak of. And as for warranty... it's Nintendo folks... like all items it comes with a 1 year manufacturers warranty with proof of purchase ie: the paypal invoice.

Anyhow, ignore the haters buy with confidence.

Side note for anyone else who hits on this... Here is how you obtain a manufacturers warranty for nintendo products.
