I don't understand how this is a good price? Normally it costs £270?

It's Nintendo! They could sell you cardboard and people would go crazy for it. Oh... wait...

It seems like they are competitive online but in store they take the mick. I seen mario kart 8 deluxe for £54 the other day in store. Haha

My daughter wants 1 for her birthday (in 2 weeks) so grandparents have offered to put £75 each towards it... obvs want as low a price as possible cost the games are so stupidly expensive lol x

In store will only price match in store I believe (and it probably won't be this price instore in Grainger Games).

If you google john lewis price match, you'll find their never knowingly undersold policy, with a link to the web form to fill in to get them to look into it. They'll respond within 24 hours with a decision, took around 3h this morning. (edited)

You purchase the item for full price, and once you've received it, and are happy, they will refund the difference onto the card you paid on.

Not great IMHO, for a console that has been out nearly a year, one would hope for a bigger discount than £11 off RRP! Said it many times before but the hardware inside the Switch is worth about £200 max, the rest is pure profit for Nintendo.

Also most people would be better off with a games bundle considering how expensive they are separately and the Nintendo first party games, which with little exception are the only ones worth buying, never see any significant discount...

Think it's worth the £3.50 for an extra year warranty and get JL to price match this.

Thank you! Did the form online. Picking console up today from John Lewis so will drop them a further email Monday for the difference refunding. Also got Mario Odyssey from coolshop. Total cost for game and console £303.49 with 2yr warranty (oh and I've gone via topcashback on both too so once cashbook goes through it will be less than the tesco deal I missed)
