About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
The Michelin Pilot 4: Use voucher code: 4MICH40 for this price on 4 tyres!
The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is a high performance tyre, developed with input from BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Porsche.
Michelin have designed the Pilot Sport 4 tyre with dynamic response technology - their use of Aramid and Nylon in the makeup of the tyre helps to ensure that the tyre is continually conforming to the contours of the road, delivering the best traction available for the conditions.
The tyre's tread compounds has been derived from Michelin's extensive experience in key motorsport events - such as Formula E and World Rally Championship.
The Pilot Sport 4 has a tyre compound featuring a unique blend of elastomers and hydrophobic Silica which helps the tyre to remain flexible - delivering excellent wet grip and reliable braking performances. The tyre's wide longitudinal grooves work to disperse surface water from the road surface, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.
I have a set of these on my other car and they are fantastic!
Potential 2.1% cashback through TopCashBack too!
(Please note this is the mail order price - does not include fitting!).
EVO Tyre Test: Jan 2018

Michelin - 98.1
A cleen sweep of subjective ratings helped secure victory for the Michelin. Its feel was peerless in the wet, where it was among the few to feel connected and exploitable, and that description applied to its dry track performance too. It scored consistently well in all the measured tests and on the road it was effortlessly agile and refined too. Simply a great tyre.

Why oh why does a better deal come along after I just paid significantly more for mine quite recently. Besford, will you pull my pants back up?
Which is great - but...........................
Bit rude. I’ve averaged 46 mpg since new and I hardly ever go on the motorway. Only go on town roads like my mum says.
As it so happens I have a tyre fitter who I have known for 15 yrs....charges me £5/corner
Just fitted them. They now stick out from the car by about 50mm, making my car road illegal. Now gonna have to get the wheel skirts extended at a cost (according to my mate who is offering mate rates) of about £450, making this a £800 set of tyres. If you drive a C1 like me, this is well cold!
You can get them for £386 fitted via the same link. You then select the garage that's nearest you and they deliver them there ready for you to get fitted.
Yes it is...thank you! I have edited the deal to reflect this!
Cupra 300 loves these.
£155 a corner for my size... GRRR (edited)
What I am suggesting is that you need to find a guy
There's never an awesome deal when I actually need a set of tires. Held out for as long as I could waiting for a good discount on a set of premiums but had to order Feb and then this deal turns up which would have saved Me a few quid.
Buy an extra set for next time?
The pilot 4 is a good tyre yes and the price above (even when adding fitting if others comments right) is very good but my experience means I cannot justify cost v lifespan.
Just plugged in my staggered sizes - for the 4S as well - and it accepts the £40 discount.
Worst case if it doesn't work for you is two orders of two, each using 2MICH15, to get £15 off per pair.
You did a swear. My mum saw it.
Massive overkill probably but your braking distance will probably be very good
The only thing wrong in your post is the C1. What a waste of a good tyre.
Yes and more importantly not sure how insurance would look at running a non-standard size!
I've checked multiple times with both Aviva and Admiral, and they both said they don't care as long as you don't change the rims. (And aviva allowed change of rims if they were part of the winter wheel set without an extra charge)
My set are going on to a MK7.5 GTi...to replace the rather poor Bridgestones!
Ah ha, didn't realise you got this from my post on the golfgtiforum I didn't think to add it to HUKD. They're going on my R - fitted on Tuesday
Yeah, true! Still a great price fitted or not. Looking forward to see what difference it makes from the Potenza's - hopefully some otherwise it'll be a very expensive "bargain" !!
I went from Pirelli’s to the PS4 on an A4 and the difference was huge. So have Grand expectations! (edited)
Pirelli...
Rainsbort 3’s are an OK mid-range tyre but aren’t comparable to PS4’s as being discussed here (edited)
Depends on the car. Generally RWD cars have wider tyres at the back but FWD cars have a square setup so all the same! AWD generally have a square setup too!
Unfortunately there wasnt any local garages that were really close to me among blackcircles selections. But tbh it’s only a £5 difference once I factor in the quidco cashback and it supports my local businesses.
Thanks greencode
Very fresh indeed
This is the load index of the tyre and actually quite an important one to stick to!
