Will this be applicable if you’ve had 6 months free already with EE.
Had it ages ago and cancelled before any charges were due after the free 6 months

It's not working for PAYG customers We're sorry. To get 6 months free Apple Music membership you need to be on an EE pay monthly mobile or SIM only plan.

I believe If you had Apple music free for 6 months already but without ee covering the data, you can have the data covered for 6 months of your normal £9.99 subscription by texting stream to 150, handy if you normally blitz your internet on music streaming

I posted this last year when they first did it and it went pretty damned hot.
Unfortunately if you’ve already had either this or the free data then you can’t get them again but still a great offer for those who missed out last time.

Be wary of extra charges if you end up not using this: I added this to my account but didn't end up using it as I have a Spotify family subscription and couldn't export my playlists. Removed it from my account through the app but then six months later I got a £10 charge and it had reappeared. They refunded ok but I thought people might want the heads up to keep an eye on their account after the 6 months is up. (edited)

This isn’t really a deal, EE openly advertise this all over the TV, Internet and Print. It’s been around for a long time

if you’ve already used it, you can’t have it again.

They say if you haven’t used it before you can get it and point you to the original terms https://ee.co.uk/content/dam/everything-everywhere/documents/Apple_Music_Including_Data_Streaming.pdf

If it’s Sim-Only, then it doesn’t apply to “upgrades”, as they aren’t actually upgrades. As you say, they are recontracts.

If you have a handset, and you renew your contract with an upgraded handset, you will get the six months again.

No, Apple Music is available for Android too (and anything that runs iTunes).

Unfortunately this offer is only for an individual subscription, so if you happen to already have a family subscription, all they’ll give you is 6 months free data. They won’t ‘donate’ the amount an individual subscription is worth against the family version. Shame really, just thought I’d point it out as I’m already paying for a family membership. Up to 6 people for £15/mo is pretty much a no-brainer. Feels like somebody is being ripped off at that price... (edited)

I got the opposite! - I activated the offer but it refused to work when logging into itunes... after much messing about I gave up and cancelled. A month later I got a few pounds credit on my ee account for unused itunes

check your bill if you take this offer. I was charged last time when it was supposed to be free. Phoned them up and they gave me refund for 3 months that i had unknowingly been charged for.

If I am to try this using Android, how does it make the connection between my EE UserIdentity and my totally separate and distinct (separate email address) apple account?

Got this the other day, And I'm not an EE customer! So if you know somone that is on EE but will not use apple music you can apply for the service through there phone by texting music to 150 you will then receive a conformation text then will be sent a link click on the link from there phone then your asked to register or log in with your apple Id, log in with your existing id and that's it will link your account with the apple music for 6 months.

Didn't work for me, but doesn't matter as Apple music was not great when I had the trial before with EE & I also have free premium Spotify anyway.

EE literally write to you and tell you you can have this. I fail to see the deal.
