  • 100% AUTHENTIC JAPANESE WHISKY: Expertly selected, completely distilled and aged in Japan, Tenjaku is an exceptionally smooth, easy-to-drink and well balanced whiskey.
  • MADE FROM NATURE: Carefully selected unprocessed whiskies and pure, natural spring water are expertly blended to maintain and protect perfected flavours, which is the art of the Tenjaku blend.
  • GOLD MEDAL WHISKY: Created by renowned whisky Master Blender Kenji Watanabe using a delicate blending technique unique to Japan. Tenjaku received a 91 rating and a gold medal from the World's Best Known Beverage Testing Institute in 2020.
  • GREAT TO SIP: With a crisp and vibrant flavour, Tenjaku is perfect for sipping but also has versatile appeal and can be used to create exceptional cocktails.
  • SPICY AND SWEET: Rich and full-bodied, Tenjaku lets you experience a slightly spicy note with an oaky and sweet finish. Upfront, its sweet aroma is redolent of pear and dried fruit with a faint smoky accent.

Hmm. This is from Amazon reviews -
This is definitely not a product that meets Japan's new 2021 regulations for Japanese Whisky. Tenjaku is rumoured to be a blend of Chinese and Scottish whisky aged for under 5 years. Certainly it is produced by a company with no recorded installation of pot stills and in a plant designated for the importation and blending of foreign alcohol into Japan. So - not Japanese whisky at all haha!

    Yuk no thanks.
Better off buying one of the great scotch deals for around the same price.

Not the best whisky, voted cold...

Vote on the deal not whether you like the product. Cheapest it's been suggests it's a good deal for those that are after it

Well I can vote as I want. If the quality is bad, it doesn't matter how cheap it goes (edited)

If you want a Japanese whisky spend a bit extra and get something decent, tried this stuff and was really not impressed.

I posted a deal for this at Costco recently and having looked around, glad I didn't pick up a bottle tbh. Good price if you like it but don't want to waste my money on something that has gotten poorly reviewed everywhere I looked. (edited)

Definitely would want to try before buying as I guess I have done with most of the whiskies I've bought.

Is the same price in Sainsburys, well was late last week when I was in there.

I prefer it over the other blended whiskeys you can get, but they are normally £18 for 1ltr.

Good deal if you are after this though. I brought it and most of the bottle disappeared over the weekend so can’t be to bad!

I’ll certainly be giving that a try in the next few weeks …. Mixed reviews online for it on Aldi website , but each to their own I suppose

It's not made in Japan. I bit like meat prepared in England but slaughtered elsewhere (before brexit)

Think says it all. “I’m not a whisky drinker but…” you can disregard everything after “but”, and continue on your way.
