To be fair they come rolled up, vacuum sealed and boxed. So quite a small package. Would fit in many cars with back seats down. Pretty heavy tho.rodman25/11/2021 17:31

And... hot.. It is a horrible mattress, probably feels okay if you never slept on a good one. Don't cheap out on mattresses people, you spend 1/3rd of your life in bed - your whole body will be grateful.planetschmanet26/11/2021 08:18

Actually it does have the 10 year guarantee I've just brought mine from Lidl and now unpacked and set up in bedroom and in the box is a booklet from Emma stating the 10 year guarantee so it does not matter where you buy it from as long as it's the genuine article which it will be from Lidl so Emma will have to honour the guarantee just keep the booklet and the receipt as proofI don't have any booklet I bought from Lidl . Box has pic with barcode so you can see e- manual.
I called Emma customer service they said no 10 year warranty cover with this .- Will be fun getting a king size home from store.
I am aware these normally come rolled and boxed.....but that's not as comical (edited) - Just collected the king size one and I manage to drag it to my car on my own without a trolley. It's not light, but not extremely heavy either. Hope this helps.

You can get a free firm or soft extra layer for the mattress if you don't find it comfortable before you send it back. They don't advertise this on the site. I wasn't happy with mine and they sent me out a soft topper and the mattress is now perfect. Hope that helps- I've never been so excited about going to bed!! Been counting the hours down all day (edited)

What car do you have?
I have a small van, but the box is really not that big. Should easily fit into a hatchback with the seats folded. Maybe even across the back seats in a sedan if it fits through the door.MaryH202126/11/2021 10:50
Just picked one up and waiting for it to "self inflate". But if it has been awarded "Which? Best buy for 5 years in a row" (including this year), they it must be doing something rightHas anyone had any experience with these? What are they like??
But also personal experiences can be different depending on your personal preferences and body type, I read quite a bit about it before going for this one and it appears that if you're a bit on the heavy side, you might find it a bit soft and its recommended to go for a hybrid one that has more support. That said, cracking price (worth mentioning the £10 off coupon when you have spent £200+ in a month of lidl shopping, hence got mine for £319 😏Teo_Narl26/11/2021 08:00

Each to their own Teo. I see you also seem to spend a lot of your time gaming. That probably feels okay but some people have better things to do.doormanjoel26/11/2021 17:30
How bizarre i just checked my box and it does indeed say hard next to the …How bizarre i just checked my box and it does indeed say hard next to the measurement size
It does say "Hard" firmness on the box. That said it seems to be a difference of opinion on the matter, as in some places its advertised as medium, and read on some sleep comparison site that "they think" it's soft (which I don't agree). After picking ours up today (so have not slept on it yet, but lied on it on and off during the day.... I think it's medium hardness (if it helps, I am 6 foot tall and 85kg/13 and a bit stones), that said my girlfriend lied on it as well, and she originally thought that it's soft, but after a little while she agreed that it's medium (good amount of support and not too soft to sink in it as well) so for us it seems to be a fairly good all rounder. All that said, just to sort of try and manage everyone's expectations, it does not leave a dip in the shape of your hand when you press your hand on it, it feels quite springie in a good way. Hope this helps anyone.doormanjoel26/11/2021 20:41

Lol, that did make me laugh, hope it meets your expectations. 🤞- Will Lidl give a full refund on these after it's been used?. The bed expands quite a bit after opening and will not fit in the original box. Would need a van to return this.
I found this bed to cause back pain if you sleep on your side. Also agree with the other comments about it being hot, causing sweating even in winter. Worst mattresses I have come across, really surprised after reading the reviews. - My local lidl appears to have a problem selling them, I'm so tempted but I've been last Thursday, Saturday and today and it looks like they've only shifted a few. Perhaps they'll gone in the reduced section eventually. I think customer's are seeing the price and the so called reduction and thinking its still pretty expensive especially as the same benefits don't apply when ordering direct from Emma.
- Good price
- Hot.

I think it’ll only be king and single. I called their customer service and was told it’s only what’s being advertised- good deal - come with 100 night trial too (edited)
- Damn just bought one, thought I was getting a good deal through Edenred with work at £396! £329 is a steal. Comfy, odd foam smell but I'm sure that'll wear off...

Yeah good luck at getting your money back if you want to send back. Check out reviews!- My girlfriend and I have had one for about two years now and I hate it, but she likes it. I feel like I'm constantly sleeping in a big dent, which arches my back. It's all personal preference I'm sure, but if you find you don't like it, make sure to hold them to the 100 day return, as it won't get any better for you.

Thats brilliant- Returning my new Emma mattress now and buying this one. Thank you OP for saving me £100.
- Thanks for posting. Just been and bought a single from bromsgrove branch and they had quite a few left, also got £10 off next spend using Lidl app as spent £200
- I got excited when I found the deals on all of the popular mattress brands such as Emma, SImba or Nectar and then I read comments left by people under some of the Facebook ads and those cured me from an idea of buying one of those mattresses. There are lots and lots of comments from people saying that after the while those mattresses develop dips, suffer from sagging problems. The companies will send you replacement and you will get that problem again and eventually they won't repair it anymore.
Do yourself a favor and invest in top quality spring mattress. (edited) - Is this actually the same thing? I know Emma's marketing states that they don't come in different firmnesses and they're all Medium - however looking at what's on offer in LIDL today, they all state "Hard" next to the size.

Does yours say 'hard' on the box or did you get a choice of firmness?
