Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5

Goodyear have constructed the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 with a highly refined silica compound - this enhances the grip of the tyre, resulting in short braking distance on both wet and dry roads. The tyre's asymmetric tread pattern, coupled with the

They’ll probably honour it but unless it’s the deal of the century, there are several ‘what if’ reasons it’s a bad idea to bump it out twelve months (only my opinion)
1) a better offer will likely come up (have bought both main tyre sizes listed in this deal in the last 4 months, based on ATS deals)
2) the tyre might no longer be produced/stocked and you rock up to find they want to offer something different(unlikely admittedly)
3) they could go into administration, leaving you needing to do a chargeback (also unlikely)
4) you might crash/change/sell your car before 12 months are up
5) you might get a puncture/nail and need to replace a tyre before that point (though I guess you could then bring the date forward (edited)
Thought about getting them to do the alignment but I'm going to get a trusted local place to do it and they can check over the fitting also. (edited)
XMAS10 code is expired
what a load of rubbish. there is no reason a national chain would. they make much more money easily on bulbs/wipers etc. rather than the possibility of being caught and possible manslaughter etc on this. complete tosh.
That’s what I asked them to do
Just ordered a bucket, car wash shampoo, sponge and screenwash delivered for the grand total of £0....
It looks like a unique code but worth checking your email if you bought car tyres recently..... (edited)
The guy turned up on time, was friendly and fitted them without any hassle, so very pleased. Quidco not tracked yet but I raised it with them and hopefully it will eventually. I think TCB was better but I missed that.
I had these fitted on the last offer replacing some worn Asymmetric 3s they have rim protection but it looks to be less than the old ones
GY tyres are the best imho.. stick to the road and are not wearing off too fast.. the worst experience was with continental and then michelin (edited)
Weird you mentioned that might be nothing but I bought 4 new tyres from them earlier this year £130 each and got a puncture the day after.
Check asdatyres.. the best prices imho
FP is Goodyear’s notation for Flange Protection. I’ve had the Asym 5’s and now the Supersports and they offer a reasonable amount of rim protection. Previous Michelin MPSS with FSL were more substantial but the Goodyears are still decent (edited)
Just close that message and a little below you had option to search by tyre size.
then wait for year, you'll find something else will come up by that time
Looking at getting the same. Look to be a pretty good all rounder. link
I tried that about five years ago & the answer was no - but I got the feeling it was sort of down to the individual guy, mine was a bit incalcitrant.
Don’t see why not. Your paying for the tyres and fitting. Not seen anything to say wheels have be attached to the car prior.
Ring on this number 0333-016-6550 and asked them to cancel the order.
Please, don't let them transfer the call to other department because I waited for half an hour (no response). I used another mobile and did manage to cancel the order.
If some got "Money-Super-Market" voucher code.
It will drop the price further down (stack all the vouchers above). (edited)
My booking is still showing as confirmed and PayPal payment has been taken so all good .......
Mine not tracked after three days.
The stack is still showing as applying, however the discount is nowhere near as much as it was yesterday.
I bought 4 x Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 for £380 yesterday, and despite the online price still being the same, the 3 code stack shows them as costing £496 today, so yeah seems someone there has wised up sadly
So after paying extra for alignment the car is pulling to the right. Back I go to sort this mess out.
Same happened to me yesterday. Had to give up after more than an hour of waiting for someone to pick up the phone.
Have you manged to conatct them?
Straight through today, apparently technical glitch, just rebooked for a free time slot to suit me and gave me an extra 20quid off.
Hopefully they will come Thursday
