It's true. Don't get me wrong. This is a decent sale with plenty great games at relatively low prices, but, if you have been using an Xbox for more than 3 months chances are you have seen this sale more than once now.

Not true, it's about to drop on the UK store, you can switch to the Australia store and download the native series version right now, it's a 42gb update to the backwards compatible version.

Update, I've just switched region and that didn't pull the update, think it's best to wait till this live stream at 3pm and see what's happening. (edited)

Yeppers. There's a long and storied history of why there are multiple releases, which is definitely worth a read if you have some popcorn and enjoy schadenfreude spectacles, but it boils down to the Necronomicon edition was released by the publisher Nacon, is regularly on sale for a tenner, is last gen only, contains most but not all DLC, and the game developer (Frogwares) may not see any of the cash for it. The Series S|X version is self-published by the developer, Frogwares, is 60fps, graphics enhanced, contains all DLC, and goes on sale less regularly at around half price - maybe £20 ish.

Consumers are mostly losing and confusing in this publisher debacle, but if you want as much of the DLC possible for the most complete package, you should go for either the Necronomicon edition or the Series S|X Deluxe edition. Either way the gameplay is more or less identical.

I've got both, and compared to the last gen version the enhanced Series S|X deluxe edition is Quite Nice™.

No only if you want to cut out the middle man, if a friend has gold they can buy as gift and you give them cash if they have gold or you yourself have gold and get it for the gold discount price or there's the silver option full price.

Yes, it's really fun. I'm not sure what is typically sells for absolutely worth it for that price.

Is this upgrade free? I got the digital code when I bought the Special Edition Cyberpunk XB One X and have it among my digital games, unplayed due to all the issues the game had. If it’s free I may download again for the upgrade
