I'm left shocked at the customer service at Currys. We normally buy at JL or Richer Sounds when it comes to TVs but this time around we decided to go with Currys.
5 years were clearly written in the subtitle when the TV was bought last year, they still do 5 years on the newer models but it's hidden away under a tab instead of screaming it out.
I called up to speak to someone, kept being transferred.
I have been told I have 1 year on the TV - what is the best thing to do about this?
P.S nothing is wrong with the TV, I got a call from LG letting me know that my warranty expired, to which I told them I have 5 and they said to check with Currys - this is how I ended up here.","comment":[{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/47165010","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"TheGalaxy"},"datePublished":"2022-03-28T15:21:52.000Z","text":"Is it this TV? Your 14 April 2021 archive shows 5yr wty as does earlier 22 Dec 2020, although buried in \"Specification\" tab. Unlikely that 5yr wty would disappear in between so I'd be happy to take on Currys with that info, although TBH I'd probably bypass Currys & just go straight to CRA via credit provider as I would have paid via credit on that purchase.
Regardless of Currys wty or not, you have 6 years of CRA opportunity against Currys (& any applicable credit provider) unless you live in Scotland.
