The Philips Air Purifier Series 800 AC0830/30 allows for powerful airflow circulation for rooms up to 49m² and distributes clean air to every corner of the room.

Featuring a boosted perfomance of up to 190 m³/hr CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) the AC0830/30 can clean up to 20 m² in less than 16 minutes.

Featuring a 3 layer filtration system with NanoProtect HEPA, active carbon filter and pre-filter this purifier captures up to 99.5% of ultra-fine particle as small as 0.003 microns, so you're safe against PM2.5, bacteria, pollen, dust, pet dander, odours and other pollutants.

Thanks to the energy efficient design of the AC0830/30, the air purifier runs at a maximum 20 Watt of power.

In Sleep mode, display lights are dimmed, and the purifier operates in near silence for clean air while you sleep.

The Air Purifier comes with an automatic mode alongside 2 different speed levels: sleep and turbo-which allows you to be fully in control of the airflow and sound level.

The intelligent design of the AC0830/30 means that the unit scans the air 1000x a second to detect ultra fine-particles. This then reports the air quality in real time, and intelligently chooses the right speed for your home (in auto mode).

This Air purifier also captures aerosols including those which may contain respiratory viruses and has been tested independently by airmid health-group to remove up to 99.9% of viruses and aerosols from the air.

I had one, it's a very good quiet purifier, but the filters are very expensive and hard to find(constantly out of stock everywhere). I sold it, replaced it with a Levoit Core 300, it's better in my opinion - filters are always available and pretty cheap, it's just as quiet and compact as this. Price is comparable.

Hi how often do you normally replace them? Thanks

Read the reviews of this similar item from Philips. Some say a couple months and others a year. Depends how dusty you environment is.

anyone had one of these? any info on replacing the filters? thanks

    Original filters are here.
Other companies make compatible filters like this.
For me it's about the price and availability of the filters. I do like the fact that 3rd party manufactures are making filters for this device. If you want reviews just look up for the 800 series.

Bear in mind that if you want something to reduce odour too, you’ll need a unit with a charcoal filter (e.g. Philips 2000i).

Here's an online review - tempted to get one personally (got the bigger 3000i at work). The 800 model is normally £130-160 ish, so the £107.98 isn't bad.

Not sure the dimensions are right. It can't be 3 metres tall

Cut and paste job. Fixed. Thank you.

I had the white Philips 800, same thing it seems. Replace filter as often as your environment needs but for me it was replaced after a year. We used this in a bedroom and vacuum often and don't have much that could gather dust. In the living room, I went for a bigger air purifier from Philips where the filter can be vacuumed.

No filters should be washed unless it specifically states it.

I like this. Nice and quiet.

Anyone know if the filters can be washed? Seeing as car filters can and vacuum filters can, I’d be surprised if these couldn’t be but wondered if anyone had tried?

I was wondering this myself. I know people vacuum the outer filter and the 3rd party filters come with a brush. Here's the manual. (edited)

Some people put comments but no explanation. HEPA standards vary 99.95% Eu and 99.97% for US.
