    1) as part of trade-in you can send just the phone unless you want to get rid of old cables
    2) cheapest option now is to order with A7 lite tablet and sell that one for ~100.

Thanks OP. Purchased 2 for me and my wife (traded in an S10 lite and Redmi 9S which have both had their last updates I believe)..278 quid per phone and took the interest free over 12 months. I have answered this question mamy times: if you chose "any other phone" it DOES NOT have to be Android.

Is FE a stripped down lower spec version?

Absolutely not. "FE" = "Fans' Edition", according to Samsung. You get almost the best from the S21 flagship, minus the exorbitant price and flashy outer carcass.

But the problem with the S21 FE is that the underlying Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC is known for serious overheating, hence throttling of the chip, which defeats the purpose of a flaship chip.

Personally I'd get the S20 FE 5G, or the newer S20 FE 2022. It doesn't suffer from overheating, whilst still having a 2020 flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC. (edited)

Yes,if you go on the chat, the first thing they asked me was have I tried to use the same imei more than once,I asked if they could free up the IMEI number to use again, they said no.
But I used a so called locked IMEI,but it worked again,I don't think they know,to be honest.
I had 2 orders cancelled because I'd tried the same imei 6 times to get the price down as much as possible,I wouldn't be too concerned I've tinkered with others and nothings happened,I now use my own IMEI number to tinker with because I won't trade in my day to day phone.

I have a S10 lite, which has been great and I still like, I like the larger screen, the 21fe would be smaller. Otherwise I think I might have bought, with the tab s8 I got on another offer. Will wait now til later in the year, see if s22+ comes up on a deal.

Yeah I really like my S10 lite. My battery seems pretty healthy after 2 years (92% according to AccuBattery) so was swithering...but given its probably the last Android update I thought I'd take the plunge. Shipping 2GB of RAM, but 6GB is all I really need tbh. I think I only paid about £200 for the S10 and £180 for my wife's phone, so to get £400 in a trade in is excellent. The 21 FE is never worth it's RRP but the healthy discount and additional 10% for buying 2 made it a no-brainer. Sad to see the S10 Lite go though!

But that's the options its a Samsung i have and it has a cracked screen so out of the three options i have to select "any cracked Samsung Phone up to £200" but then on the next screen it asks to confirm if the screen is not cracked otherwise they reduce the discount to £100. Would make more sense if it was labelled "Any Samsung phone up to £200".

I have asked them to link to where in terms and conditions it says a tradein phone must be a smartphone...as to say they accept ANY phone even a broken one and then claim via email as they have to me this morning a tradein must be a smartphone is obviously highly misleading. But no reason to disbelieve the posts, where it seems many people have traded in non android old phones and not had an issue but will take this one on the chin and try and stock up on cheap smartphones off ebay for the next trade in
