I needed to renew my Game Pass sub as it expires on 28th August and the old deal has ended for 3 months at £5.99 so this is the best deal I could find for conversion at the moment.

CD Keys are selling 6 months Xbox Live for £15.99 which converts to 4 months of game pass ultimate.

Considering it’s still £10.99 per month this is still a saving of £27.97 if you pay monthly.

    1) Instant-gaming.com have a "Xbox Live Gold 3 Month Membership" for £5.87 (1 item per transaction, limit of 5 purchases per day). If the link is broken, go to instant-gaming.com and search for "Xbox Live Gold 3 Month Membership" and pick the non-Europe one (it'd be nice if HotUKDeals could fix their Instant-gaming . com links).

    As I needed 9 x 3 months Gold for a full 3 year Gold subscription, I had to buy mine over two days - each 3-month membership expands to 4 months if you turn on recurring billing following the instructions on hotukdeals.com/dea…066.

    I added subscription up to a total of 35 months (8x4+3) to avoid hitting the 36 month limit by not turning on recurring billing for the 9th code.

    2) As I had previously been Game Pass Ultimate subscriber (through the £1 trial conversion), I wasn't eligible for the £1 trial conversion and converted my 35 months of Xbox Live Gold with a 93p Kinguin.net Xbox Game Pass Ultimate - 1 Month EU XBOX One / Series X|S / Windows 10 CD Key (NON-STACKABLE). The offer states "Can be activated in: United Kingdom", so there is a measure of protection.

    Caveats:
    I'd suggest worst case scenario is that you are stuck with insufficient codes from instant-gaming, and have to buy three-month codes elsewhere, or that your Kinguin code doesn't work and you have to seek a £1 refund. Or that a cheaper HDUK deal turns up!

    Thank you. Did you order the 3 month codes with or without "Europe" in the title? They seem to have two listed. Some reviews saying the codes didn't work in their region.

    It would help. I'm not sure why you're both getting the 3 extra days (every little helps!) but according to MS' own FAQ page on the subject a 3 month code converts to 50 days Ultimate for existing subs so 2x50= 100 days. I'm not sure how MS count a month (either date to date or 4 weeks/28 days) but either estimate is overselling the deal a little. As proven by the latest replies the wording of the title is also confusing some into not knowing that it's a 1:1 conversion for fresh subs (which is the best value) so, imho, the clearest way to present the deal is '(converts to Gamepass Ultimate)' and then clearly specify the conversion rates in the description.

    Awh that would explain why I got X2 4 months conversation to ultimate on a 6 month gold card from cd keys, like the one on this feed. I was on gold only and kept buying the gold codes from cd keys to get 3 years max then converted to ultimate. I didn't get the weird conversion rate because I was upgrading. Worth remembering you get an extra month with 3 months, every time you put in the key if you leave auto renewal on. Think the thing to do is to downgrade from ultimate to gold then do what I did. Only cost me around £70 in total for 3 years ultimate in the end. That's under £2 per month for 3 years, instead of £10.99 per month. Not bad.

    i got 6 month xbox live for £15.99 from CD Keys and it came as 2 x 3 month codes. I didn't realise there was a conversion so logged it with Microsoft who offered to cancel my Game Pass and convert back to xbox live gold to give me the full 6 months. This allowed me to buy a second 6 month xbox live code which when redeemed offered me an extra month if I enabled autorenew payments. Then I just did the £1 upgrade to switch back to gamepass ultimate. Faffy but meant I got to keep all of the months + an extra 2 (I think). Now expires Nov 2023

    Has anyone got a good deal for Gold now?

    Also, if I've previously had the 1month Gamepass trial, which has now expired, is my conversion rate still 1:1 if I use this workaround, or am I on the 3:2 which existing users get?

    I used UrbanVPN (Chrome is free to use Turkey) to redeem the Gold.
    Then turned it off, and bought the Gamepass for £1 through my Xbox.

    If it comes as two 3 months codes then you can a total of100 days extension to an existing Ultimate

    MS say "6 months of Gold - 79 days of Ultimate (2+ months)"
    They say "6 Months of Game Pass for Console - 4 months of Ultimate"

    So its understandable that people are surprised to see 4 months from 6 months gold

    My 3 year GPU runs out in Sept. I remember 3 years ago there was a glitch on alienware website and i was able to claim 36 x 1 month gold codes. I then paid £1 to convert those 36 months to GPU.
    I didnt really use GPU that much over the 3 years tbh. It was a nice to have. Everyone and their dog was claiming those free codes.

    I been looking for the same and best I could find was CD keys £4.50 for 3 months turkey so would work out to be 12 months for £18

    If someone else (with an exsisting Ultimate sub) can get this to redeem 4 months please post, with some screens if possible.

    Interesting to see if MS is offering a better conversion rate than they're advertising on their own FAQs.

    I've managed to get a better rate than this with previous 3 month codes but £4 a month is still great value for Ultimate.

    Will vote hot when someone else can confirm it is indeed 4 months (114 days) and not 100 (2x3month codes) or the vague 79 days on MS' own FAQ.

    Right guys can someone help me out here. Iv purchased this but when entering code it is showing me xbox live gold 3months not gamepass as you have all stated, what the hell am i doing wrong? I tried in xbox but kept freezing so entered code in mixrosoft store.

    If you have the £1 GPU deal on and you let it expire , will the £1 offer appear again as you're not an active subscriber? Does letting GPU lapse affect any games/saves etc or business as usual when GPU reactivated?

    It will, but it's not immediate. Sometimes they offer you it next day, most see it after a week or so unsubscribed, some a month or more. You can't rely on it.
