Hi,has anyone got this TV any good?
    Conkers816's avatar
I had it. It's a brilliant TV. The operating system is as fast as you like and the TV itself took about 8 seconds to become usable from the point you powered it on - much faster than most android smart tv's.

got one last week for my ps5 and living room action. full HDR so you can experience HDR in 4K. excellent picture, great sound even out the speakers and fast boot up. clean UI and lots of apps for films ect. bargain
    neilydee's avatar
Not bad for this price as a (secondary?) telly for ps5. Yeah ps5 is HDR10 for games so this is compatible. You won't get any frame rates above 60 though due to the refresh rate of the telly. So if you're wanting to max out your experience you might want to spend more and get one that can do 120Hz.

Can't recommend these TV's enough! Have the 65 Inch in the living room connected to the PS5, and the 50 Inch in the bedroom. Picture quality is fantastic, the OS is brilliant and the sound is passable, but that's easily rectified with a soundbar
  4. PatTheCat's avatar
Alas, no record to USB on this range. They expect you to catch up.

    Tempted for xbox series s....

Put off by I think it lacks a power button?! And also if the picture would actually not be that great, especially for upscaling 1080p - or is that handled by the xbox itself...?
    chancooluk's avatar
Do any TV's come with a power button these days? Some have a single standby button, but that does the same thing as the standby button on a remote.

For gaming, it's best to let the Xbox handle the upscaling, and disable any upscaling / enhancements on the TV (usually switched off by selecting game mode). TV upscaling with games usually introduces input lag, which can make games feel unresponsive. (edited)

Bought one today and etremely impressed with the sound. I have a sound bar to connect to it but for those of you who don't have or wanna buy one the native sound is pretty damn good (edited)

How far apart are the legs?

I'm wondering if the 43" model will fit on top of existing cabinet in a bedroom.
    fizzgig's avatar
The legs on the 43 inch are 30.5 inches apart, just measured mine for you. (edited)

Great TV and price. Got one in the man cave for gaming and movies.
  9. hgthompson's avatar
Great TV's these, good screen and great OS (much more user friendly than Android). Bought one a few months back for some elderly relatives, and even they can use it fully. Amazing at this price!

Got this last week. Unbelievable TV for the money. Quick start, slick OS and great 4K picture. Even the sound is OK, which I wasn’t expecting for the money. Clearly, it doesn’t compete with my OLED, but is just perfect for the PS5 🏻
  11. Myredsock's avatar
Desperate for this but the space I have will only fit a 40". I'm going to end up paying more for a smaller inferior TV
  12. leeroy_tmofo's avatar
Bought my mum one of these 3(ish) years ago now.

It's been superb. Great picture too.
  13. andrewdejana's avatar
Probably a stupid question but should I be paying any attention to the energy rating when looking to buy a TV?

How much difference is this compared to a C rating for example? Or is it just not worth worrying about?
    ApolloCreedXXX's avatar
    Author
They've changed the energy rating system recently i wouldn't worry too much about it this probably uses 50 to 70 watts per hour

Thanks for posting, picked one up tonight and set it up, signing in to all apps/services was a piece of cake, first impressions are great!

Yep i bought one too. Feels like a 350/400 pounds TV.The only minuses are no Bluetooth & no Dolby vision. I'd rate it 8 out of ten.Weirdly i didn't have to sign into some apps it knew the log in details already??? Another strange thing it replaced a 43" tv but somehow looks bigger, like a 48-50 inch tv!
  36. baklodhi's avatar
