    I bought this last time it was on offer. The Batmobile itself is a lovely diecast object, but the speaker is the tinniest monstrosity I've ever heard.

    Ordered thanks OP for £17 I think this is a good looking model of perhaps the most iconic batmobile of them all the Bluetooth speaker is just a added novelty to me one you would either use or not

    Strange one. So does it do something to change the wake word on the assistant that you connect it to?

    Seems that when you link the Batmobile BT speaker to your phone, you should be able to use the Batmobile wake word via the BT speaker unit, that should then use your phone to complete the required task.

    So the wake word on your phone remains the same, as you are only able to use the Batmobile wake word on the BT speaker unit, not on your phone (edited)

    I've got Sonos speakers all round the house. I've got a Sonos Roam for taking out the house. I've also got a selection of Bluetooth speakers that have received over the years.

    Same here, Zavvi are well known for this nonsense unfortunately.

    Often sell things they don't have and wait endlessly for thr the items, partly why they have such a poor reputation.

    Not the first time I've had this with them.

    It's supposed to be an XMas present so can wait a bit lo get though. (edited)

    Possibly. I also ordered this as a present but ended up cancelling it as I’ve had issues with Zavvi over selling items in the past. It’s as if they sell more then they have in stock in the hope of being able to get more stock but that never happens. To be fair though they refunded me pretty quickly once I asked to cancel.
