Would doing this essentially remove my 'new account' status for the next time round, so I'll have to create new acc each time?
    Czubaka's avatar
No. You just have to wait for the active subscription to expire to add another one. Make sure you switch off the auto renew because it activates automatically after you use the code.

Getting Xbox for son at Christmas. By non stackable i assume this means you can't pile them up for like 12 months or whatever. But is it then just a case of entering a new code each month for 12 months or does it have to be a new account altogether?

This is exactly what I do every month. I bought 5 non stackable codes a few months ago. When one expires I just enter the next code on the list and carry on.

You have to watch out that the codes you're buying don't expire before you're able to use them. (edited)

I bought about 6 of these a couple of months ago. If they're from Pringles cans, someone said the expiry date is 1/12/2022. Obviously I can't confirm it until then...

Well, why not?! Where's the community spirit in that? It really is every man got himself on this website. Some people!

Heat. I paid £1.6 the other day. Make sure to turn off autorenew as it is switched on automatically after you use the code.

1st December 2022 is the expiry date, 2 clicks from here would tell you this anyway (edited)

Care to enlighten us where it says that

Bring back the simple old days when you just bought your game for £3.99 from HVM and then spend half an hour waiting for the tape to load, only to crash once its complete.

48766790-gSM3O.jpgThis is probably too old for most to make any sense of

Daft question, but it says you have to add a payment method to your Xbox account. Don't that mean Microsoft will simply move you over to their full paid monthly subscription at the end of the month?

Also, i've ordered a few. How to you check the expiry date on them? (edited)
    Yesitsmyname's avatar
You just cancel the subscription instantly.

Nothing like old ataris and c64s watching tape revolution counter and stopping right on spot in time otherwise start again and again. Those were the days.

just want to check, if i already have GPU i cant added this on then?
    CH_0120's avatar
Nope, I believe these are for new/expired accounts
  10. Shinobei's avatar
I know it's obvious to some but please add that you need to cancel the monthly subscription immediately.

Noob question - is there an expiry date to these codes? I want to buy a years worth and use whenever the current one ends.
  13. adamguest1985's avatar
    Lovely. Thanks.
  14. preecyuk2000's avatar
Not sure about expiry dates but you can only purchase 9 at a time.
Hopefully you can go back and buy another 9.
  15. Vinush's avatar
Do these passes have an expiry date?
  16. Em-Pop's avatar
Tried adding 4 and even with the discount it wanted £4.17.

EDIT. Nevermind. They were trying to auto sign me up to smart something. Sorted now.  (edited)

How is effectively a "One month free trial code, except we are charging you for an email" getting HOT?
    Yesitsmyname's avatar
It's 55p for 1 month without having to make a new account.
  18. shwanko2's avatar
dose it have an expiry day?
like can I buy 10 and use them each time each one expire?
still have 8 months left in my game pass (edited)
    Loubou's avatar
If you still have 8 months left on your Game Pass, I wouldn't buy these just in case they don't work when you come to redeem them. You have to wait for your current one to expire. I'd wait until then and then see what offers are available at the time. Anything can happen in 8 months.

I’m topping the cake here with my silly question. what’s the difference between Xbox live vs ultimate vs normal pass? Which one do I need for Xbox series?

Ultimate gives you Xbox gold too, which means you can play online games, basically ultimate offers everything including the option to download games off their list.
  22. okm's avatar
Thanks for info, it does get mind boggling with choices now.

Will this upgrade a yearly gold subscription to ultimate for a year like it used to?
    steven.johnsonm9G's avatar
You can use the gold and cancel subscription straight away and keep the month
