    It's meant to be used to buy PS Extra since they no longer sell the subscriptions anywhere else other than on the store but, in reality, it can be used to buy anything on the store.

    There's a pretty good discount on this too so if you bought it and waited for the subscription to go on sale on the store you could get a pretty nice double discount. (edited)

    This seems like a no brainer for anyone who ever buys an in-game transaction or buys games from the PS Store. Just bought one - might treat myself to another one just since it's such good value! I usually use CDKeys but they've never had 17% off a PS Store Gift Card.
