sorted byWouldn't be so bad if reviews also reviewed this stuff but they dont. Almost all of them are onlyyy about the image quality with a brief mention that it runs Google TV or whatever and "all the usual apps are avaliable" blah blah great reviewing.
So yeah this could have a newer much smoother processor than their last years TVs but it might not. Either check videos or find a review that mentions UI stuff. Or if you use an external UI device like nvida shield then it doesn't matter much
It's totally worth it as it's an incredible panel for the money (edited)
Unfortunately, RTINGS don't review the EU TCL/Hisense models
But this site is just as good

That's not to say the Hisense is a bad deal (it's a great deal) - but it's 50% more, so apples and oranges etc.
TLDR: if you can afford it and OLED is suitable for you then go for the Hisense, absolutely
HDMI is also only 2.0, so definitely wouldn't get 4k/120hz (if the panel was 120hz, which it ain't)
The shield remote is a thing of beauty.....Best remote bar none...
Picture quality on these TCLs are outstanding..
TCL are usually gimped on HDMI in the UK market, america and Europe get 2.1 ports/120hz 4k ect (edited)
If it was the 65" I would be all over this if it was around the £500mark (edited)

Still good price for the 55" heat 🔥
Buy it,you won't regret it (edited)

Panel uniformity should be great/better than any LED-LCD Samsung (or any other brand tbh).
If this has the same speaker setup as mine, it's not particularly great... But again, 'price point'.
Most questions about the TV should be mentioned in here for those that haven't seen the link

Have two 55” inch toshiba TVs that have failed in the last couple of weeks . Just over 2 years old and just over 18 months old.
