Is there a way for general public to get epp?

I mean I could list stuff that's available as perks to a job but it's pointless as the only people that could benefit are those in the closed system

    Buy lebara sim 👌

Thanks, fancied giving one of these a go as a PC monitor since I'm currently using an older 60hz TV and wanted an upgrade for gaming. Missed the earlier eBay code deal, and this is slightly better anyway since they're brand new rather than open box.

Didn't think I'd qualify for EPP discounts, but just logged in with my Lebara account at mobile.lebara.com/gb/…ung as suggested by Tendr, and that worked great (after disabling my browser adblocker which was preventing the redirect).

Have received the TV now and made a few observations that might be helpful to others. If anything it's better than expected, as I'm not seeing some of the problems that Rtings mentioned in their review of the 43" QN90B. I don't have the text clarity issues at 4k 144hz they mentioned - for me it's working with full 4:4:4 chroma at the maximum refresh rate and their test pattern displays perfectly. VRR is also working properly for me on an RTX 3080, and games run smoothly at a variety of framerates as expected. Not sure why I'm seeing better results than them, maybe it's a newer revision of the TV or the UK model is slightly different (looks identical to the one they have though, and most of the other charcteristics they mentioned are the same).

I confirmed that the panel does have a BGR subpixel layout. For Windows 10 users it's worth downloading "Better ClearType Tuner" and picking the BGR setting so that text in Windows is antialiased properly. To my eyes it looked fairly decent even with the "wrong" setting, but with both side-by-side, I could see it was better once the correct BGR layout was chosen. Text looks perfect to me now.

The default local dimming setting (in PC/game mode) of "high" is not good for monitor use. The TV dims zones too aggressively - for example if you test an all black screen with the mouse pointer on it, the mouse pointer gets dimmed a lot and is barely visible. I found setting local dimming to "low" instead considerably improved that.

Holding down the play/pause button brings up the "game bar" which is quite helpful for troubleshooting, since it shows whether the TV is receiving a VRR or HDR signal, and what the current framerate is. If those features showing off when they should be on, it's a good sign that the Windows settings, Nvidia control panel settings etc. still need some tweaking to get everything enabled.

4K 144Hz is also working here too without any problems. I noticed on the sticker at the back of the TV it states "Version No. 06" so it could be the 6th revision of the 43" QN90B.

The TV also came pre-installed with the latest firmware 1430 which was released in February this year so the set wasn't manufactured that long ago either.

Mine just arrived, blown away by it for PC monitor use. I ordered the Dell G3223Q, then the Alienware 34 OLED. This TV is so much better than either of them. Thanks OP

As a bonus the sound quality is very good and outstanding compared to PC monitors. Picture quality is easily on par with my LG CX.

Crazy this isn't far hotter than it is, so much better than oled for PC use.

Ironic I tried c1 oled as monitor, it was crap, very dim, nice colours on gaming but very dim and dull on outlook and work

Thanks for the review , did u change setting or just standard settings (edited)

Thanks! Was looking at this in the last few days and it was £674ish. This is a near £150 saving. It is new, and it has a picture on the listing of a 5 Yr warranty. I know the EPP is apparently 1 Yr, but the listing had a logo with 5 Yr.

The 'like new' listing on ebay is now OOS @ 599, (potential discount never worked for me, taking it down to this price).

Going from a 55" Q6FN to this should hopefully be worth the upgrade for my bedroom. My consoles can now run at 120hz AND 4K at the same time instead of only one or the other on the Q6FN.

Hi yes this will be brand new and it will only be a 1 year warranty. This is a bit misleading however if you click on that picture on the page it will bring up the terms and conditions which then states EPP purchases are excluded which people fail to read! You can watch a lot of reviews on this TV on youtube and it seems to be a good gaming tv as well a good TV for normal use (edited)

Ordered. The 43" QN90A last year went down to around this price on Samsung EPP before going out of stock completely so I don't see the 43" QN90B getting much cheaper.

Rtings review, using it as a monitor:

Cheers OP. Been looking for a decent 43” and this ticks all the boxes

sods law I've been waiting on this model to drop a bit more in price and now that it has the size I want (50 inch) is sold out. I'd buy the 55" but can't because the wall unit I have only fits a max 50" size TV, and the 43" is smaller than my current 48". So bugger

Fantastic picture, bright and bold colours, UI is very laggy outside of apps. Easier to use the old style remote. Overall very pleased, with just the menu letting it down abit. Can't have two hdmi inputs in multiscreen mode.

Samsung shop experience is genuinely the worst shopping experience I've ever had. They couldn't deliver the product, returned it to samsung and then said they could no longer deliver it...out of stock...refund offered but this 20 year samaung boy is never going back
