I bought this a couple of weeks ago for several hundred pounds more and thought I'd share some of the things that bother me about this tv, which might be worth considering if you're on the fence.

    1. The UI has changed, which means that the home menu bar at the bottom of the screen with your source input options and settings, commonly found on Samsungs of the past is gone. This sucks as the new home screen takes you to a full screen page with loads of confusing options. Things that used to take a couple of clicks now takes loads of clicks to do.

    2. The UI is slow on start up.

    3. The One Connect box has a mosquito buzzing sound when the tv is on standby. It can be annoying and there's no fix.

    4. My tv panel has uneven gaps around the rim of the tv. Not really noticeable but annoying when it's supposed to a flagship device.

    On the plus side:

    1. Picture quality is great.

    2. The tv can sync its speakers with Samsung soundbars to create surround sound, this is awesome.

    3. The design of the tv is really nice

How does this compare to C1 specifically, main focus on gaming and occasional BR Movies

If you are playing the same game constantly or for hours on end you will get screen burn on the oled I know from experience

What is everyone's experience with Q-Symphony? Is it worth changing the TV for?

I have a Hisense TV which I purchased not so long ago, but I have since then added a Samsung Soundbar (Q990B), which makes me want to switch to a Samsung TV if Q-Symphony is something worth switch for.

    No

    I have a QN95A + Q930B

My TV glitched out and only the Q - Symphony speakers where playing audio. When this happened I could tell exactly what the TV speakers where adding to the sound stage.

For me Q - Symphony didn't play dialogue..only background "noise" like rain, music during a action scene etc. It blends into the background and is worth using if it's available but not worth switching for.

Is this worth the extra vs the qn90b? Only difference is the one connect box?

Image processing slightly better from what I can gather. Gone for the qn90b to save the £200.

Is it 5 year warranty? Also can students access the epp?

Students can access Samsung store through uni days or something else. Not sure of warranty as terms and conditions states 1 year for epp purchase but advertised with 5 years on their portal so it can be disputed for false advertising. I’d suggest take all screenshots and keep all evidence

I have the 2021 model (QN94A) I'd imagine this is an upgrade/ refresh?

The TV gets stupidly bright is SDR / HDR..the blacks looks really good due to the outstanding local dimming..I think the contrast ratio can reach 25,000 to 1. Obviously not as good as OLED but it can come close.

G-sync works flawlessly and so does 4K 120hz and 10 bit colour on a rtx 4080

That's the one I have , brilliant picture , risk of burn in on a oled put me off , often have gmtv on for hours in the morning , that's a good way of burning a image with there logos (edited)
