Samsung VS20B7551BF Black Jet 75 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

More Advanced Cleaning Performance
Clean various types of floor with the maximum suction power. The Digital Inverter Motor generates suction power of up to 200W*. The aerodynamic design of the air system also optimises the airflow, while multi-cyclonic air filtration traps fine dust particles.

Digital Inverter Motor
Clean much more effectively with a suction power of up to 200W*. The Digital Inverter Motor optimises the airflow with its ultrasonic welded airfoil blades. So it delivers a strong input power of up to 550W**, maintains a high level of energy efficiency and generates up to 200W* of suction.

99.999%" Multi-layered Filtration System
Release clean air with a 99.999%" Multi-layered Filtration System, which traps 99.999%"* of dust** and reduces allergens. A main cyclone and metal mesh grille filter pick up large dust particles. The Jet Cyclone and micro filter then catch fine dust and a fine dust filter traps micro dust.

Removable and Longer-lasting Battery
Enjoy a long cleaning time without recharging. A high-capacity (2000mA*) battery maintains suction for up to 60 minutes**. And you can easily remove and replace it with a spare battery*** to clean for up to 120 minutes. It also retains 70%" of its original performance up to 500 cycles****.

2-in-1 Charging Station
Store and charge your vacuum cleaner more flexibly with the 2-in-1 Charging Station, which can be easily adjusted to suit any home. If you want to save space it can be mounted on the wall. Or you can use it as a stand-alone charger, so you can simply remove the battery and charge it anywhere.

Washable Dustbin
Keep the dustbin hygienically clean and empty your vacuum cleaner easily. The whole 0.8L dustbin, including the multi-cyclone system, is fully washable, so it can be kept clean and fresh. It can also be removed easily without detaching the pipe from the body, so you can simply tip out the dust.

Digital Display
Make sure your vacuum cleaner is always working optimally with an integrated digital display. You can intuitively check the machine’s status, such as its power level and brush type. And it alerts you if there are brush bar problems or blockages. So you can control and maintain it conveniently.

Turbo Action Brush
Pick up fine dust particles in carpets as well as on hard floors with the Turbo Action Brush. It rotates around 3,750 times a minute*. A 180 degree swivel head lets you easily change direction and clean every corner. And you can easily maintain the rotating drum by detaching it with one click.

Link to the clean station

Empty with ease Auto Empty Dustbin It’s never been easier to empty your vacuum. Just remove the dustbin, place it on top of the Clean Station™ and it’ll automatically empty. No dust. No fuss.

Have a Jet 90 with a Clean Station (aka vacuum for the vacuum). The idea behind the station is to reduce dust particles escaping compared to just emptying the bin into an open main bin to help those with allergies, but I find the process almost as messy, the CS is crap at sucking out even a moderately packed bin or anything that's tangled up in hair, so you have to empty it more frequently. The full bag sensor on my CS doesn't work so it just will fill the bag until you can no longer remove it from the station because it's so fat.

As for the vacuum, it's not that great, I have to regularly dismantle the bin and wash everyting as the filters gets clogged up easily causing the blocked error where the power cuts out intermittently (unless you put it on max power).

Pros: Telescopic tube (standard with Jet 90), vacuum stand that doesn't require wall mounting (inc. in Complete package, don't think it's available for the 75 model), build quality feels better than Dyson, prefer the Power button design over Dyson trigger. Suction is slightly better than Dyson V12. Swappable battery but I rarely have to as I can just about do the house on a single charge and doesn't take too long to recharge if I run out.

Would I trade it just for Dyson's emptying method and the virtually useless laser? Probably.

TL:DR: Avoid the Clean Station, it's crap in my opinion. (edited)

Any thoughts on this Vacuum verse Dyson V10?

I have this and it was at least superior to my old Dyson V6 in nearly every way (much less noisy, easier to empty, charges faster, suction as good if not stronger, lighter, looks nicer). (edited)

Not really a fair comparison...a vacuum from 2014 against a vacuum from 2022...I think if you had a recent Dyson and then compared you would have a different view

I just ordered the bespoke, posted the deal here hotukdeals.com/dea…d=7 as it turns out that if you add the fancy mop accessory it's half price and could do with something simpler to keep on top of the kitchen and bathroom hard floors.

Appreciate @Allgreatdatamate point on the 90 being as much as you probably need. Given the extra recycle value Samsung is giving on the more expensive model though the price differential for this vs the bespoke is £30 on the deal you linked to and you do get extra tools, the two batteries. If you want the top end £749 set up you are able to put it together by parts on the Samsung website for £413.50 with the trade in and I would also say that's worth the extra money.

If the price gap was bigger I would agree and say this is good enough, but why not have a lot more for a little more money.

Does this have any kind of anti hair wrap?
    ezrideroftp's avatar
    ezrideroftp
Nope, you have to remove the roller from the head and cut the hair off it then vacuum them up just using the tube end. At least with our old Bosch cordless the roller had a channel that you could run scissors through easily. If you have old flattened carpet, it's not that great at picking hair up in the first place, takes a few passes.

This is tempting but not as good as the Argos one with Cashback the other day; also the "Clean Station" looks like a bit of a rip-off - £175 seems like a lot for a plastic box to empty your vacuum into regardless of how neatly it does it.

If you can't empty the thing into a normal bin without making a mess then it's not very well designed, I'd say.

That was a good deal but for a different and inferior model with only the one battery. Yes, the cleaning station is overpriced on its own, but is a cool piece of kit and nice to have as a bundled extra. I'd disagree that mess generated by emptying a dust container necessarily indicates bad design. I've had various vacuums over the years, including expensive ones from big brands (the one I have at the moment is a Bosch), and emptying the dust caddy is ALWAYS fiddly and generates some amount of dust cloud, no matter how careful I am or how well designed the vacuum is. This clean station seems to do away with that issue entirely. It's definitely an excessive solution to a relatively minor problem, but nice to have nonetheless.

I'm thinking about trying a jet90 once My Dyson v11 gives up which won't be long now the way it gets abused.
My problem is samsung customer service is not great, it was a right pain dealing with them over my heat pump dryer and my galaxy s22 last year, everyone is based abroad and can speak English but don't really grasp what you're talking about if it's anything slightly complex and just give nonsensical replies.
I've called Dyson many times, spoke to a person in the UK and had brand new parts sent out next day delivery without question and without returning the old model.
They replaced my entire v11 when my daughter threw it ( she's none verbal autistic ) I told them she threw it and cracked the housing and I just wanted to buy the main body, they asked to look at it on video call and said it had split at a joint and replaced it free.
They've also replaced multiple heads over the years free, I've never had customer service as good as Dyson anywhere else (edited)

HOT! The cleaning system alone AND the extra battery would be an extra £170(ish) + £120 for the extra battery. Brilliant find OP.

Shame it wasn't the 90 Pro but you can't have everything.
    warriorscot's avatar
    warriorscot
There's some good deals on the 90 pro as well at the moment, and you can get the bespoke model with all the accessories and an extra battery for £413.50 or £329 with most of the accessories if you have a trade in(or go buy a cheap hoover for £50 and trade that), I posted that one here hotukdeals.com/dea…d=7.

I’ve watched a couple of videos on the clean station and personally it’s the most gimmicky thing I’ve seen for s long time, basically a bagged standing hoover for your cordless hoover. But one major issue is when you put the canister into the station it sucks out the dirt and dust, several times it blows air back up into the canister, this is designed to un-lodge any stuck garbage, but it’s basically blowing back the same dusty air it’s sucking out lol. So when it finishes and you take out the canister the bottom of the canister and the trap door lid is full of dust in the inside and outside. Making the whole process a bit pointless lol (edited)

Exactly, it takes a while to fill up the whole container. Once my one is full I throw the dirt staright to the outside bin, can't really see a point of that, and it also takes a lot of space!

    warriorscot's avatar
    warriorscot
Less than that, if you buy from Samsung with a trade its 329 for the bespoke with a free extra battery, or 413.50 if you add in the sweeper to take it to top spec bundle. No brainer, mines arrives tommorow.

Does the clean station suck the vacuum bin clean like the bespoke jet complete one or is it just a bin that you have to empty the vacuum bin into with nothing fancy to it other than being designed to complement the look of the vacuum?

Just seen the reply above that confirms the chirac station sucks the dirt out of the vacuum, but now that use wasn't so impressed by the clean stations performance. Wonder if this clean station performs the same or worse than the bespoke jet one... that one looks very impressive in the vids. (edited)
