Looks like a good deal this. Anyone got any better suggestions for the best gaming laptop atm with a budget of up to £1,500? An Intel based machine preferred. Thanks

The ebuyer legion recently posted, basically a full bodied one of these but with 3070ti, was pretty good.

from very.co.uk for £1239 plus there is a code that will give you £150 back. VAB7I.

    This isn't a code for credit !!

"Get £150 BACK when you buy selected PC Gaming lines £999+ between 09.02.2023 - 16.02.2023 simply by entering code VAB7I at checkout. This code can only be used once and not at the same time as any other offer code. We will charge full value, then credit £150 back to your method of payment on dispatch. Thats a very low powered rtx 3080 and MSI thin gaming laptops always have heat issues.

    For another £50
Would a 3070Ti not be better?

How would either of these both the (same price/spec) compare to each other?
Twice as much storage on the MSI one.

Depend what your requirements are. The slim 7 is a portable workstation/gaming laptop with the better screen and features along with portability, bigger battery, sd card etc it's still a good price comparing to other brands especially razer blade or macbook atm

The rtx laptop version goes between 90 to 130 and sometimes a little more
This is one of the lower ones but still a canny step up from the 3060 and with 8gb vram so more future proof

I got a 4 year premium + accidental damage last year, it might fall come 2025, hopefully 30 series will be phased out by then

any body looking to spend £1500 on a gaming laptop should wait for the new RTX 4060 versions about the same FPS has a older gaming laptop with a RTX3070TI - RTX3080 and the new AMD - Intel Cpu`s. included.

Nice laptop, YouTube Just Josh's favourite of 2022. Was briefly available in December for £1200 from Very, but good price nevertheless.

Obviously, 2023 replacement is due any day but will no doubt be more expensive. (edited)

Total graphics power. It's how much power the GPU is allowed to draw based on thermals and power management. You can get the same GPU with multiple different TGPs and their performance will vary.

A 3070 in a thin and light might only have a TGP of 80w, whereas one in a massive desktop replacement might be 130w. The 130w will boost higher and perform better; this is somewhere in the middle.

Good deal, I wanted the all AMD version of this for a long time, supposed to be very quiet and decent performance in a nice looking package.

Geez thats a nice laptop. 100-140W USB-C charging, 500 nits screen which is very bright and brighter than almost all other laptops. Sounds very thin for having a 3070 GPU.

edit: wow so apparently they measure it at the thinnest point which because of its design doesn't include its screen! So they advertise it as only 17mm thin but it's actually around 26mm. That's over a 50% difference. How come pretty much every review and their advertising material says only 17mm? It's only a video that I just saw with a tape measure next to it showing 26mm which made me find out. (edited)

It'll still run most games at 1080p ultra
I've got laptops with 90w and 130w and I would honestly say about 15-20 percent difference
Actually just been testing because I got my 130w one delivered this morning
