This is a good price for the 3060 systems and getting back to where they should be. 8GB RAM definitely would like adding another stick to bring it to 16GB dual channel and some will complain about the display but it’s really not that bad at all.

A desktop will last longer and have better performance for the price, just depends if you need the portability.

If you're not planning on playing new games though you could definitely get a nice laptop for around £600, prices of gaming laptops go up a lot if you want a good GPU.

Lenovo support is genuinely the worst support I've ever dealt with, I would completely avoid them.

Also 8gb these days is kind of painful if you're wanting to play more demanding games. (I'm not saying 8gb is bad before you bite my ass) (edited)

Lenovo and HP support are the best I've come across but usually for business machines and rarely need them for consumer units.

The 8GB RAM issue is easily and cheaply fixed and recommended as you also get 16GB dual-channel - it's nearly an essential upgrade for modern gaming if you want to avoid stuttering. (edited)

Last gen GPU, CPU and only 250 nits screen. Also need to upgrade the RAM. Bit too expensive imo.

Normal pricing currently. Go back 6 months+ and you'd get much better deals. Unfortunately we can't so have to deal with the present moment pricing.

I have this laptop, put 32db ram in it, and it's great for what I use it for, only things I don't like are, the screen, forget using it outside, and also the power supply is massive and heavy

They have versions with brighter screens but this isn't one of them. The power supply has to be big and heavy, it's 300W!

Can you put an extra ssd stick into this?

yes, there should be two slots if it's the same as mine but I think one slot is M.2 2280, and the other is M.2 2242. If you are sticking in another ssd then upgrade the ram to 16 gigs too with another matched speed stick! It's a decent system after those upgrades.
